More selective of choice for restaurant menu

The property was a simple location, easy to reach and park. It was a large space aswell, having lots of space prevents the hotel from feeling overwhelming and crowded.

It was slightly difficult to navigate around, however the maps and assistance from staff fixes that problem.

Breakfast is good, relaxing, Nice pool where next to the beach. the staff very helpful and polite. The hotel is bigger than I thought when I see the pictures. I recommend!!

it would be nice if price of massage on site was a bit cheaper. Also option for 30 minutes would be good for those with less time.

Liked everything. Design of the resort and facilities are quite nice. The resort is fresh with plenty of vegetation that creates a relaxing atmosphere and gives shade in between buildings to hide from the scorching tropical sun.My room, a standalone one-storey villa, was of a decent size, very clean, with an emphasis on design sometimes at the expense of comfort but still very comfortable. Had an air purifier in the room, a set of drip coffee, snacks and a full mini bar with soft drinks including my fav tonic brand (no gin, just tonic:).

I made my booking through booking.com, after check-in I looked at the resorts web site and found out many promotions, specifically a promotion for the same villa I stayed in at almost half the price I paid. Now imagine my disappointment. So I addressed this issue with staff at the reception. One of the staff members, I think it was a shift manager, couldn’t do anything about it. She cheerfully made her best offer and suggested that I could get a free breakfast for the night I had booked, provided I extended my stay for more nights, a quid pro quo style… I find it worth mentioning since it’s rather not pro customer approach and this situation could be handled in a better way. Aside from that, my score for the staff would be 5/5.

All staffs were very nice. No matter what help we asked for, they are always willing to help.

The telephone in the room had a problem with the signal. Calls to other rooms were annoying. A technician had to be called to fix it. I would like the hotel to check the equipment before guests check in.

Everything was excellent. One of the best if not the best places to stay if you love food. We were able to order food until very late into the night/early morning. Facilities were very accessible and clean.

Lovely hotel set next to beach and town alike. Good location and easy transport to anywhere wanting to go ie nite Market. Firmly focused on family inclusiveness, many couples bringing their dog or cat on the stay with them. Very good breakfast and supporting service. Gardens make a great retreat from the sun. A very relaxing and enjoyable time.

Great hotel, amazing design. Sadly there was a construction side next to the hotel, but the staff handled that very well. Breakfast could be a little more various on the non savory side

New, stylish, and modern. Located right by the beach, yet offers a sense of privacy.

The pool area can be quite busy and noisy, with a DJ and families with kids making it lively but a bit chaotic.

Clean, upscale, great customer service and overall wonderful experience. Perfect romantic getaway for 2 or 3 nights. Location is inspirational.

Breakfast buffet had a great variety for both international and local tastes. The entire resort was relaxing. It is a far walk from place to place (within hotel site) but it was comfortable.

My family liked everything very much and enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Standard. A perfect hotel for families with kids, very clean, nice pool, located on the beach, delicious breakfast, good location.

We didn't like the horses on the beach.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is walking distance to a vast range of restaurants, shops, a shopping centre and the night market.

There is nothing not to like at this hotel!

Overall atmosphere

There was a wedding reception right at the same time as my stay. It was a bit chaotic and a bit too loud as I was only staying for one night. It was a shame ?
