Great location, only 5 minutes walking to the center. Ancient buildings taking you back to 1920s. Love the garden and white-sand beach. Can walk around, enjoying the breeze blew and the bird singing.

The bathtub drain was easily clogged up when shower.

Very beautiful classic old hotel, unchanged from when we stayed 25 years ago for our honeymoon! Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also very good with lots of variety.Just bad luck that one of our favorite spot for taking photos is under renovation and the clouds hides the sun ruining the sunrise scene.Wish to come again for our next anniversary.

I always enjoy my stays at Centara Grand, as it’s a fantastic location I visit every time I come to Thailand. My wife, who is a Thai citizen, and I love the relaxing atmosphere. The staff are excellent, the breakfast is great, and overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay.

Unfortunately, during check-in, the staff’s handling of my payment was uncomfortable. My card was declined due to fraud limits, and I felt the situation was announced loudly and handled insensitively. I’ve always enjoyed staying at Centara Grand, but this incident affected my experience. I hope this feedback helps improve future guest interactions.

Family room was old and had unpleasant odor, can use a remodel; breakfast had few options for a five star resort.

Very comfortable, close to the market and there are cheap Thai restaurants around the hotel, the view from the hotel is also very beautiful, close to the beach too.The hotel staffs are very lovely, everyone is polite and always smiling, I received good service from everyone.

Beautiful buildings and property. Staff are very attentive. The perfect place to stay in luxurious comfort not far from Bangkok. (We got a very affordable cab both ways). No need to leave the property - lovely swimming pool and beach access.

Liked the club area and the room. Location excellent.

Staff weren’t great. We spent 3 days previously at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. Service and quality there on a different level. Also there was a very drunken guy who went into the Elephant bar bouncing around talking to people who didn’t want to speak to him. The management/staff didn’t know how to deal with it.

breakfast are supper good, I am enjoin everyday!rom is very classic and confutable, I love bathroom so much, the water flower are very good too. swimming pool are very cosy, they have 4! all staff are supper friendly and service very good. this is one of best hotel experiment for 10 years, perfect hotel for me.

Great super multi choice breakfast, we (wife, I plus 12yr old granddaughter) stayed in a deluxe king sea view room, with extra bed added, and the room was big enough to be comfortable..., the king bed was very comfy and with a private balcony to relax, we enjoyed the pools (2) and sea front restaurant food was delicious. hotel is located right by the beach and great for a local town stroll to the nearby walking street night market, and if eating out at night there is lots of choice nearby the hotel (we tried 3,, - Thai (poor), - Italian (good), and Chaolay Seafood (very good)..., and we will not hesitate to recommend and we will return for a future break away.

Very nice hotel with good facilities. The staff were very friendly & polite. The pool was a little small but the gardens were excellent and well kept. The beach location was fabulous.

The showers where old not realley clean this time stay many times but now its starting to get old. Now the going to renavate and I think is getting to big for the charm.
