Parkhotel St.Leonhard

The view from our room over the lake was beautiful. The breakfast was excellent, but given the price, I would have liked the option for filter coffee rather than a machine.

We could hear the family below us when we were in bed. The hotel could do with a renovation, but none of this detracted from our enjoyment.

Very good rooms for families. Great pool and food. Staff in bar and restaurant were excellent.

Reception staff seemed to be less flexible and accommodating than the rest of the staff.

Poor service, waited 45 mins to order drinks and gave up. Breakfast only catered for Germans, hardly any cereal or toaster. Bathroom was disappointing

The hotel is in walking distance to my business partner, located in a nice area and offering great views over lake Constance. It has a swimming pool and sauna, offers a buffet breakfast and there is a restaurant where one can eat... facilitating a good arrival on the first day. Also they have a full featured bar. The hotel offers sufficient and free parking and also offers charging opportunities for electric cars. So everything you really need and some nice additional amenities.

The room was reasonably sized for a single room, but it lacked in comfiness. As the hotel seems to have no opportunity to sit in relative quiet and privacy except in your room, I prefer a room where this is possible with some comfort, especially on a business trip where you need to pick up on all the things that happened at home and in the office while you were gone – it is sad if you miss the "comfort of your every day office" in a hotel room.Also I have some dietary needs, no garlic, onions, gluten or milk products, and it was not really possible to support this by the kitchen ... they tried, but failed for instance to get me a gluten free option for bread within 30 Minutes at breakfast the first morning and no one registered my need, so there were also no options on the following days. I bought some gluten free bread and brought it so this was easily solved by myself.

Location

The head waitress at dinner during our stay was impolite and incompetent (we ordered a bottle of wine and were given one of a different vintage than was listed on the wine list and which was of inferior quality. We sent the bottle back and chose a different wine. The second wine also turned out to be of a different vintage than the one indicated on the wine list. When we pointed this out the head waitress simply said that the restaurant reserves the right to change to change the vintage as it chooses.

A wonderful hotel - there is plenty of parking nearby, excellent breakfasts, but the best thing is that the hotel has a swimming pool and saunas, you can relax after the road!

The room was old and looked like a hospital room. Cheap and ugly furniture from the 70’sThe bathroom was outdated, towels small and thin. The worst was the bed! Even if you book a room for one person you should get a bed with a decent size. This one was so narrow that you could barely move without falling out.

Rooms were clean and excellent. Location peaceful. I was visiting hotel with 7 colleagues and had our annual strategy day there.

Large room, quiet, balcony, great bedding, free safe parking, good breakfast and wonderful dinner. Close to town.

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff, exceptional breakfast, nice spa area and fat fluffy bathrobe. Loved using the pool and spa area. I had a single room and was surprised how large it was. Nice amenities in the bathroom.

It was sometimes a bit difficult to find things as the hotel is large with different elevator systems. But you get used to it and then know where to go.

View from location was awesome. Excellent food choices. Serene location and very friendly staff
