Charming, friendly, well located, with free parking and a very good restaurant. Old fashion hospitality in a very attractive part of the lake.

A bit of an old-fashioned hotel. Rather small and plain room. Breakfast ok, but not fancy.

Great location just few steps from the promenade.Private parking and good breakfast.

No air conditioning or fan. The single room is quite small and it gets pretty hot in there.

Wonderful traditional hotel in an excellent location 50 metres from Lake Bodensee. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast and evening meal were very good and served in the traditionally appointed restaurant that was beautifully decorated for Christmas during our stay. The private parking 20 metres from the hotel is a most welcomed feature of staying at this hotel, being so close to the lake. We look forward to staying at Hotel Ochsen again.

Everything was perfect, we had a very pleasant stay.. beautiful location at the lake, excellent service and breakfast.

This hotel is extraordinary: 10 out of 10 is no exaggeration. The hotel room is very much fine - mine even have the bonus of a view towards the Lake. The facilities in the bathroom are superb. The hotel then has many bonuses: the Library is just incredible: I was working there for a weekend and it felt exceptionally welcoming. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the hotel's restaurant (and its personnel) also deserves all praise.

No air-con

Excellent location at Lake Constance. Great room overlooking the lake, and parking on site. Breakfast had plenty of options. Staff and restaurant were great and everyone was friendly. Would return anytime.

Perfect location, helpful, friendly staff and a classical, beautiful Hotel. Great variety at breakfast and the evening Restaurant was a pleasure to dine in. Tastefully decorated honouring it’s past. Will look forward to staying again.

It was so good we were sorry that we could stay only one night.

Atmosphere, friendly, great food in the evening & also buffet breakfast.Staff were very helpful with our luggage. You must remember that this is a very old hotel, so it’s accommodation is not the Hilton, however it’s spotless with good beds.
