- Very charming and comfortable atmosphere. All the staff were extremely helpful and attentive, the breakfast was very accommodating, and most importantly (for me) the coffee was excellent.

Cons -
- We stayed on the third floor (2nd floor by German reckoning) and had West facing windows. The room got extremely hot with the unusually warm 35 degree daily high temperature, and there was no fan in the room to help mitigate the heat.
- No air conditioning other than a small fan unit . Otherwise nothing .
- Place is bit far from the downtown. Though you can access the downtown by bus and the hotel provide us with a free bus/ train access card. Bus route is bit hard to navigate. If you are non German speaking it will be bit more difficult.

Excellent cuisine, friendly and efficient staff, comfortable beds, clean and beautiful rooms.
Like in most German four-star hotels, the rooms are not air-conditioned. In the scorching mid-summer heat, this no longer meets international standards. In the age of climate chsnge a/C is a must for a comfortable night.
