The location and the personell are very nice. The room is new and clean.

Would be nice to have a kettle and tea provided. And the music night in the restaurant (on the ground floor) lasts too long (almost midnight?) which is quite loud.

Great stay and fantastic hospitality. Location is scenic and close to various interesting spots. We went during the summer.

The room was spacious and recently renovated and modernized to a high standard. The breakfast buffet was extensive and especially the bakery products extremely fresh. The restaurant was typically German, mostly meat and potatoes. The value for money was excellent.

The guesthouse is modern, with professionally made bathrooms and good quality furniture. We stayed with a child and she got her own bed for free. Our matras had a plastic cover on it (probably for hygienic purposes) that made the same sound as a toy we have for our child, so we had te remove them otherwise she couldn't sleep. This was a bit unfortunate, but not a problem. They also have a laundry service which we were happy to use, because the laundry service in town is too difficult (you will understand when you look it up).The personell is very friendly, also to non-german speaking people. Everyone greets you with a friendly smile and they accept special requests without trouble, such as an extra egg at breakfast.Finally, the location of the guesthouse is very nice. The town is beautiful. Much better to stay than Titisee. The train station is on a 10 minutes walk, the supermarket, drugstore and many good restaurants are within 5 minutes. The park next to the church is large enough for a good stroll and well-made with nice walking paths and a creek in the middle.

The hallway to the rooms are a bit noisy. You can hear people talk or walk, but it is not too disturbing.

The restaurant on the bottom floor was so convenient and the food was very good. The provided breakfast had nice options, including fresh scrambled eggs. The is an alternate entrance on the back of the building to get to the rooms and bypass the restaurant. We had a family room. Entering the door from the hall you can see the main bed, closet, desk with mini fridge. The main bathroom had plenty of room and was clean. From the main door, turning right is the bedroom door for the kids room. It had a bunk bed, some closet, and half bath. There was enough room for us to set up a pack n play for our infant as well.The staff were all very attentive and treated us like family. From interacting with our young kids, recommending local attractions and activities, and genuinely having a conversation. The hospitality alone would make me want to return.

The parking was tricky. There are limited spots on site. There is a parking garage just up the road but our car was too tall. The hallway outside of the rooms could be noisy. We slept with sound machines because of the kids, but can imagine the noise to be disruptive for light sleepers. There wasn’t parties or anything crazy just the sound of people entering their rooms.

The staff was extremely nice. The terrace next to in had great food and the proximity was very convenient. Close to the train station.They provide the Schwarzwald Card.A lot of variety for breakfast.

Very friendly hostess and personnel, excellent service. Everything is well run and the breakfast is great. These people have passion for their business, comes highly recommended!

A very friendly family owned hotel, ideally located within walking distance of the train station. If you stay three or more nights, you get free public transport, including local trains. The hotel even brews its own bier.

The bathroom was on the small side, but we did book the small double room.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, amazing variety of delicious treats: homemade jam and marmalade, homemade yoghurts, cheeses and sausages.

The atmosphere warm and the staff are friendly and helpful.Location is good, for a supermarket is within three-minute walking distance. The dinner in the hotel is delicious.

It’s a little hard to drag a piece of medium-size luggage from the train station-neustadt- to the hotel. It’s a better idea to take the bus 7257 or 7261. The hotel is one stop away from the train station.

Good location if you’re looking for something in the midst of a tiny Black Forest village. lots of trekking and hiking routes start from nearby. Very good breakfast. friendly staff.

the cleaning lady was quite invasive, entered without knocking the door. the first night the room was very cold, since the heating was not working. not always easy to find a parking. Rooms on the first floor are a bit outdated vs the ones on the second floor.
