Action Forest Hotel - Kletterwald - Lasertag - nähe Badeparadies

The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was yummy and had a good selection bread, fruit and hardboiled eggs.

Only down side was the stairs to climb up with luggage i did not know that would happen.

The location was great

The entrance took us very long, the platform wasn't working properly. But we got phone assistance. No elevator, so we dragged the luggage all way up to the 3 rd floor and down.

The best thing about this place is the location and that it includes the Red card. It was very convenient that the Action Forest and the Lazer tag was next by.

It's very basic accommodation without even fridge in one of the rooms.

The location was definitely a highlight—just a short walk to Badeparadies Schwarzwald and the town center, which has lots of charming little shops, cozy restaurants, and ice cream stands. It was a lovely area to explore on foot.The breakfast was okay—nothing fancy, but it had the essentials to start the day.

Unfortunately, the stay was quite disappointing. The hotel has no reception, and check-in is done via an automated machine at the entrance. When I entered my name, the machine showed “no booking found”. I had to try again using the Booking.com confirmation number, which finally worked.However, my friend, who had a separate booking, had a much worse experience. The machine didn’t recognize her name or booking number. We started trying to check her in at around 6:15 PM, and after at least five phone calls, she was finally able to enter the room at 7:30 PM. Even accessing the room required two or three additional calls—a very frustrating and time-consuming process.The room itself was basic: no fridge, no safe, and it was extremely hot—almost sauna-like—which made it very difficult to sleep. We stayed in mid-June, and the lack of air conditioning or proper ventilation was a major issue. I had to keep the windows open at night just to get some airflow, which wasn’t ideal.What was supposed to be a smooth and enjoyable stay turned into a stressful experience.

I absolutely loved staying at this apartment! convenient access to everything I needed while still being quiet and peaceful.

There was no elevator and the beds were super uncomfortable. The “pillows” were so old that it was like not having a pillow at all. The check-in was very slow because there is just 1 machine and families and old people don’t really know how to use it

Short distance to downtown and for Christmas market Transfer as well for the Swimmingpool.

Cold bathroom when arriving. Breakfast without vegan / without Milch options

Good location for Titisee. Easily accessible. Price was fine.

Automated check-in. A long time waiting in the cold to be able to check in as it was busy and there was only one, slow check-in machine.Beds very uncomfortable - I got bruises on my hips from the springs. Building is noisy, can hear people talking several rooms away.

Breakfast was good - typical German/European breakfast. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Our room was very large (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog). So much space for everyone! We mainly booked this room because of the close proximity to the Ravenna Gorge Christmas Market shuttle bus - it was only a 6 minute walk. Perfect! The town is very cute as well - lots of stores and restaurants. The lake is also about a 6-7 minute walk.

The room was a little chilly. I suspect because the room is so large, the radiators had a difficult time keeping up - we had to layer our clothing to ensure we were warm enough. It would have been nice to have some extra blankets available. The reception desk is mostly unmanned - you check in with a machine and it tells you which room to go to and the code to get into the room. However, there are two buildings and it was difficult finding the room because we were not told which building to go to.

unorganised place .We waited for 1 hour at of the door and waited for reception to come and open the door. they dont answerthe phones ,finally with assist of Booking.com, he came without any excuse, the staff are very rude and unfriendly

The hotel is right up the road from lake titisee - very well connected tot he train station and has great outdoor and indoor activities for kids. The staff were very helpful and the room spacious, comfortable and clean,. We had a great stay.

Quiet, good location for water park and other activities.

Door lock is frustrating, 6 digit code to lock and unlock the door so remember to enter the code to lock the door on your way out.

Would not come again with a group

- fire door open, hence people came in the night into the hotel, passing by the only door/window of my room. I felt uncomfortable (and also not too safe to sleep with open door/window- I am not a friend of these automated check-in systems where you need reading glasses, a flashlight, and you mobile phone with the booking reference to operate it (why giving me a nine digit code and the small (thermo-) print tells me to only use the first six digits. A group of people started checking in and when I came back from a dinner in the pizzeria the were just about to finish the procedure ....!- no lift, for my group (one member over 80 a nightmare)- reception not open as displayed: 0800-1800h- breakfast, just ok, not what I would expect in a Bread country like Germany

The room was large and roomy with plenty of beds. The shower was nice.

The room is very basic, no AC, no way to heat water, no TV and very slow wifi. It was quite hard to find a place to have dinner because everyone closes early. Every time you have to enter the room, you need to ponch a 6 digit code (keep the code with you).

The curtains in the room doesn't block the light at all. The room was very bright already 7 o'clock in the morning in summer time.

the elderly lady in the breakfast room. She has no smile and her communication is very poor. For instance, he interacted with my son and he was immediately afraid of her and also noticed how unfriendly she appeared and was towards him. On the second day, the younger lady was more relaxed and friendly. And even without saying it, he said i feel better with this worker than the one yesterday. Otherwise, it was all good. All the other staff were kind and helpful. we had a good experience, adventure, and fun.
