Onsite restaurant was nice and we manage to have food after 8:30pm (only one menu but ok).Breakfast was included, it was a buffet and very good.Bathtube is always a plus for me.Very responsive and self checking possible after hours.Parking

A bit fare away from everything, you have to take the car if you want to go somewhere.The interior is a it old but still has some charm.

the bed sheets were nice.

the smell in the room.. it smelled really bad of old furniture and carpets plus some cleaning products. The whole room was from the 60's, needs redecoration. the floor were making sounds and bathroom floor moved.. overall the hotel didnt feel clean.breakfast was ok, but unfortunatelly eggs were not boiled propery and there were not many options left.

The room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall good value for money.

Good value for the money and nice attitude of the receptionist

The family room was close to the kitchen fridges, which automatically switched on/off at regular time intervals. It was very warm inside the room and we could not sleep with the windows open.Breakfast can be improved, but overall it’s ok.

We liked this hotel because it had a very german characteristic design and we loved the view from our balcony. Also the beds were comfortable!

The staff was not that friendly nor helpful and the sauna was not very comfortable

The value, activity card free, comfortable beds, large room and beautiful property! Definitely recommend!! We got a free boat ride at Rhine Falls with the activity card!

With a two night stay comes a card, which allows you a free use of some attractions nearby (and also not so nearby). We used it for a ship ride under the Rheinfall in Switzerland. So if you are contemplating staying at this hotel, this card can be a plus. The hotel itself has something that could be called a "ruhige Lage" in German. In fact it's in a small village, not far by car from the city center of Donaueschingen. Not far means five minutes.Our triple room had a balcony, but unfortunatelly we didn't have spare time to fully enjoy it. But we can imagine sitting on it and observing the countryside.The room was quite spacious, clean and with comfortable beds.

Hotel was very clean and rooms were huge , shower was working fine, there is no A/C but a table fan and central heating, it was an old well maintained hotel with modern touch, staff was very helpful and understood English, It was located near a tram station

Finding rooms was like a maze , there was no kettle , fridge or a/c when asked staff they said it was due to health and safety reasons, tram horn could be heard early morning

Big rooms, comfy beds, silence around. Better as in photos. We would love to stay longer here in our next trip.

The hotel was very charming, clean, and comfortable. The staff was super and so was the breakfast. It was perfect.

Service was great, check in was easy, and they supplied really good locked bicycle storage for our bikes. Nothing else as a problem or too difficult for them.

Breakfast was not very good. The selection was rather limited and some things didn't taste good. Especially the eggs I did not like.

First time I've stayed in a hotel in relatively rural Germany - what a fantastic experience! Incredibly peaceful area, yet linked up to the train network, travelling on an interrail pass allowed me to find this gem.Basic, but clean, quiet and with very nice staff.

On the positive side, the breakfast was quite good, with a variety of options to choose from. The spacious room provided ample space. The availability of a large parking area was convenient. The staff was generally helpful. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there is room for improvement in some areas.

One of the major inconveniences was the fact that there was only one bathroom shared between two bedrooms. This arrangement led to significant delays and discomfort, especially during the morning rush. Furthermore, the layout of the rooms was rather strange, making it challenging to navigate and utilize the space efficiently.

Beautiful location, the hotel is super pretty and the staff was amazing. Breakfast was really awesome.
