Property has been maintained well. The staff accommodated all my request.

My room was located close to the high way so that vehicle sounds was there through the night

The river/sea view is the best in the area. I like being high up as there are no mosquitoes. I also like the pool and the grounds. The staff is very hardworking and extremely helpful. Right from the front office staff - Vilma, Shubadha, and intern Nitin - to housekeeping Raksha and Rakshita - and the sweet restaurant staff Usha, Ranaya. I also like that I’m able to take a morning walk on the bridge - just wish there was a proper walking path and there wasn’t so much litter.

It can be noisy with all the traffic. And I wish they didn’t have a garbage dump right on the road by the hotel. It is a real eyesore. It attracts stray dogs and one was sadly killed by the traffic while we were there.

There should be more arrangements made for garden dining as the property has good garden area .

Loved the room, pool, breakfast, dinner and friendly staff. A great location just outside karwar town.

For a small city Sterling provides a good range of room options and good price points! The rava fish is amazing

Swimming pool and suite room

None of the amenities were not well maintained - broken TT table and bats… not great room service.. kids park was not in working condition, unhygienic

Breakfast spread was average. Overall food portions (for ala-karte order) and variety was not great. We didn't get an extra mattress though we called up and asked for it.

Cleanliness is something that needs to be addressed

The staff were polite and very helpful. They let us check in early and were always helping us. The breakfast was good although they could change the menu though. The pool was clean and good to swim around.

Nothing as such. The breakfast was good but it kind of repeated on the third day. That's all.

Nothing to like about this place

1. When we reached, we had informed way before our arrival about our late arrival time. Yet we were not told that there will be no dinner available and that we need to arrange for our own dinner2. In the room, the sheets and pillow covers were covered in all possible colours of stains...yellow, blue, red, brown...and they were visible..we had to wait for another 45 minutes for the staff to put clean bed linen on the beds3. In the bathroom, used toothbrushes of previous guests were kept. Why could they have not been removed?4. For breakfast next morning, we had to ask twice for cutlery. We were given napkins already used by someone to clean our hands. It was a horribly disgusting sight. We took pancakes but we were told that the entire hotel was out of butter! Breakfast spread was so small! It was hardly a spread.

The cottage type rooms are very good spacious and comfortable. Location is perfect

Staff behaviour is very impersonal. Room service food is below average . Didn't like their service
