B&B HOTEL Bourges 1

Very convenient location with choice of eating places within walking distance - good VFM

Smelt of cigarette smoke

Extremely good value for money and very close to the autoroute.

There were a number of smokers outside the main door that meant the outside seating area for breakfast was less pleasant than it could have been.

It does what it says on the tin. Location is convenient for a quick stop and there are restaurants within walking distance.

It’s very tired and definitely needs a revamp.

Reception were outstanding. Had a problem with car and they were super helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable and convenient for a stopover.

Met our requirements although breakfast was a little disappointing.

close town

no lift, tiny breakfast space

Very clean room with a comfortable bed. Ideal location just off the A71 close to numerous restaurants. We ate at the Le Routier truck stop restaurant around 700m up the road had an excellent meal for a very reasonable price. We have stayed at the B&B Hotel 1 many times. Used the auto check-in facility as we arrived early.

On-site bar would be nice.

the room was very cramped and needs a complete overhaul the bathroom is very old fashioned and dirty the shower base was held in by sealant it was that thick and mouldy, the scrambled egg was very slimy and the bacon had an extremely strange taste, we didnt eat after 1 bite, there was nothing else on offer apart from dry bread and butter/margerine not sure what the other things were we didnt recognise anything, it was more like a truck stop than a family hotel

everything, the whole place needs a revamp

Location

Didn’t have much options for breakfast The staff wasn’t really friendly The vending machines didn’t work There was no kettle in our room

Very close to motorway

Could have been a little bit cleaner on base of bed and shower. Could have had kettle etc in room

Location

Nobody on reception, hotel locked. Breakfast poor. Breakfast room cramped. Would never recommend anyone to come to this hotel.

Location near the A71, comfortable room with free Wi-Fi. Good value restaurant's near by used the led routier bar and restaurant for evening meal

No complaints

Good location for onward travel good sized room

Not that easy to gain access via machine at door

Great location for our needs, very comfortable bed, the room and bathroom were a little bit small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and great choice of food within the vacinity.

Slightly more space to put our suitcases. We stayed in 3 other B&B hotels on our 10 day trip, the best room for space in a double room.was the one in Rennes, Cesson Sevigne.

The location

The bathroom was tired, mould in the grout and a little smelly.

Standard Motel process, self checkin on a screen. Could be quite scary. But worked OK. Good room on ground floor.Buffet breakfast was very good and very good value. Would stay here again.

Good value breakfast Clean sheets and towelsFacilities good

Bathroom a bit mouldy

As expected the rooms are very basic, cramped space without any comfort. Hardly any space for luggage. The same goes for the breakfast, nothing special or attractive. Just a no-nonsense hotel for one night only.

WIFI is annoying in the sense that every time when logging in room number, main door entry code and other credentials have to be stated.
