    Pros +

    • The room had everything you’d expect, the price was very reasonable.
    • It was clean and warm. Location was good
    • basic, clean simple accommodation with low price compared to similar places. Good value continental breakfast. 24 hour front desk. Great location for motorway.

    Cons -

    • The bedroom door opens straight outdoors so in the middle of winter you’ll get an icy blast. The window and door could be better sealed for draughts and noise. It’s not a particularly noisy area, there is a road, but at about 4am boy racers were doing burnouts in the area - which the hotel can’t help but better seals on the window and door would’ve quietened this.
    • Very small room, kept hitting head on the higher bunk bed . No kettel in room
    • cramped shower.

Great location for our over night stay to Spain .

Heating was a bit poor, for the extreme weather conditions.

I liked that Router restaurant was only 300 metres away, the town was fantastic as was the cathedral

Half of it under construction, thought it was closed when I arrived in site

    Brilliant value for money. Clean,...

Something was making gushing noises from the air conditioner but couldn't turn it off. Forgot to mention it to receptionist

The location, we have used this place several times in the past.

Despite sending a message saying I had mobilty issues, we were allocated a ground floor room at the back of the property. The room was tiny and not suitable for a disabled person. The shower and toilet were not clean and the whole room was dated

The price of the room was great and the facilties were as expected.

The room 26 had problems. It was looking very tired. One of the lights didn't work. The top cover on the bedding smelled strongly of cigarete smoke. The biggest problem was the bathroom door that would only close if you put a lot of pressure on the door. This resulted in a loud noise whenever anyone used the toilet. There was also a lot of noise from room number 27 as it seemed that 2 french men were having an argument

    1HartPosted on: 8-25-2025

    Nothing was unclean and uncomfortable

The sheets were ridden with dried blood stains amongst other stains and the bed made us feel uncomfortable and irritated

    7AlanPosted on: 8-21-2025

    Breakfast was good value

Building is looking a bit worn as are the rooms checking in with automated machine almost impossible

Location was great for our stop over on our travels down to south of France

We have stopped in a few different locations but this was the worst. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, most light fixtures were hanging off the walls and the rooms were dirty. I believe they are undergoing a refit as most of the rooms were shut off and a large tip full of old mattresses took up a good portion of the carpark. Would we stop here again? No . I would pay that little bit more and stop at the b&b hotel just across the road.

    Very inexpensive

Rooms extremely small, toilet almost in the shower, airco very inefficient

Breakfast was good ,room comfortable and clean , reception helpful , good experience overall.

Location, close to the motorway, nice places to eat nearby

    You get what you paid

    6RoyPosted on: 5-29-2025

It was fine for such a budget hotel. Rooms were big enough with a wheelchair

    4MariannePosted on: 5-11-2025

    It a lot

Very tatty run down building Bed was solid the mattress was only 8cm thick. The bathroom was so small that if I was to swing my cat in I couldn’t!! The sink had a cigarette burn on it, the door to the room had stains running down it. The shower was so small you couldn’t turn around in it.

    7CatherinePosted on: 5-4-2025

Right next to motorway so good for overnight stop, also the Les Routiers restaurant is just down the road. The bed is very wide- 6’? which suits us and it was CD quiet. We both slept very well.

The bathrooms are so cramped and the door lock was broken and kept swinging open. This was in room 71. Had to put a bag in front of it which was a trip hazard in the night. The air con didn’t seem to work either, though that might have been us! Also when the window is open in the catch, don’t leave valuables near as a hand can easily reach through that space.
