Nice comfy bed and it was very clean. It had a Lidl right next door. Lots of parking.Dogs were €5 each.

Apart from Lidl there is nothing very close by. We were happy with the 25 minute walk to town because we needed to walk the dogs. It was quite noisy with very thin walls making it easy to hear conversations in other rooms.

Staff are lovely, hotel site is good, free and easy parking

Fairly priced but needs a little bit of care, paint peeling off, no hairdryer in room, mould in bathroom, and the TV remote didn't work

Location & cleanliness

Given the low price out-of-season, we were not too demanding of the facilities. It was a very comfortable & warm stop on a long journey.

Clean, friendly and 20mins walk to town by the river(no lights on at night on that path though)Tea and coffee in the room with a kettle but no milk

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay allowing us to 'picnic' in the breakfast room when we arrived in the evening. The breakfast was great with a good choice of food and plenty of it. It was nice to have a kettle in the room. Very quiet and free parking.

Friendly reception manager. 20 minute walk to town centre through nice park and river area. Easy free parking outside hotel. Supermarket next door.

The room was a little dated and had no air conditioning. But it was no problem.

The staff was good and quick. The rooms are a little old-fashioned, but very clean and comfortable. We had a Lidl next door and were able to find some snacks.

Eventually, it will have to be renovated from the outside.

Incredibly basic and the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever stayed in. Rolling into the middle from each side of the bed. Felt expensive for the quality of stay.

I am torn writing this review. I got a message from the hotel saying if the staff get a bonus if they rate 10 on Booking. But I must be honest. The staff are a 10 but the hotel needs repairs and cleaning beyond the normal eg mould on ceiling, peeling paint in bathroom.

Bourges is a lovely place with lots to see in the centre, particularly the stained glass in the Cathedral. The surrounding gardens are very pretty and there was live music and a tea dance while we were there

Strange food ordering process at the cafe/bars by the Cathedral. Told to give our details so we could order something to eat at 6, the given time came and went and it appeared that we were in a long list of potential customers who would probably be able to order an hour later with the food arriving who knows when We left and found a food van stationed at the car park (Place Seraucourt) serving freshly prepared Asian food (The Golden Cheese)- delicious!

Comfortable hotel in a quiet area of Bourges, a nice walk from the centre. Great that it's dog friendly!

As we were on the ground floor, we had a glass door rather than a window which we didn't want to leave open at night, so it was a little hot.

Not much at all other than location.

We had the choice of 3rd floor no lift or ground floor no Aircon and it was a 33 degree day. Staff very un helpful.

Good location if travelling on the A71 for a stopover. Room was good, bathroom good with a very good working shower. Breakfast was adequate.

It's very near petrol station ⛽️ and has a lovely greenaway walk aound Lake Auron with great wildlife .

My room was to cllostraphioba for 2 people, No Air Conditioning, only an electric fan ,very dark colours throughout the building .

Fantastic, warm and welcoming receptionist

The hotel was in poor decorative condition.Rooms could have been cleaner.Extremely hot evening when we arrived, a fan would have been very welcome.
