BHOMA Bourges - Hôtel

Location, friendly staff.

We have stayed at this hotel many times, but this time, we noticed the hotel had a constant smell of cigarette smoke. Even though the hotel wasn't busy, we were given a room with an interconnecting door. The guests in the other room spent some time exploring the door, making a lot of noise, and having a barking dog It was not a very restful night for us after a long journey, not what we expected, disappointing!Réception was closed, so we couldn't request a change of room.

Well situated in relation to the town, within walking distance to find somewhere to eat. Rooms recently refurbished, good comfortable bed. Double glazing effective considering adjacent road is busy. Adequate parking. Friendly and helpful receptionist.

Rooms for two people should have adequate chairs. Be aware that the downstairs seating area / breakfast room was comfortable and well set out but due to limited reception hours it closes at 9pm and so you only have access to your own room thereafter.

Lovely and clean. Freshly renovated.

Gardens will really finish the place when it is done.

It was clean with ample parking, easy 15 minute walk to the centre.

It is quite unexpected and unpleasant to shut down and lock the hotel “ lounge” area st 9:30 pm and send guests up to their rooms. Rooms do not have boiling kettle for tea / coffee making so with the whole downstairs area locked, you cannot even have a tea after 9:30 pm. Would not recommend more than a one night stop over, if you are running out of options.

Comfortable and clean room and plenty of off-road parking.

We didn't like that the reception was only manned at certain times, and the bar closed at 9pm.

Bed and pillow are magic. Very clean. Friendly staff.Very spacious room. I had one at first floor on the front, streeet side but it was incredibly quiet overnight.Seems a reno. Very good location. Free Parking availbale.Was a very good choise for the money.

Maybe more options for the breakfast? Some fresh veggies would be great.

A lovely comfortable bed and shower was with lovely hot water. Breakfast was plentiful.

The hotel is ok, the low note because the information of the rooms is not accurate and we were guided to book two rooms for four people while we were just fine in only one, be careful with that !!!!, we receive no reimbursment for the not required room, very bad !!!!!!

Very comfortable bed and good air conditioning in the room. Excellent breakfast included in the price. Easy parking on the premises.

Enough space, good shower, nice bed and room is relatively clean.

Reception is a bit messy, charging apparently not possible or if possible other cars blocked the charging station. Rooms were a bit old, so a bit too expensive for what you get. Breakfast is not spectacular, the pancakes were cold and not the best quality overall.

A decent room with a comfy bed.

The breakfast was good, but it is served in a rather cramped area, so people kept getting in the way of each other. Items were slow to be put out or replenished, but as I say once you had what you needed it was good.

Air conditioning excellent and much appreciated on a bakingly hot day! Great shower, comfy bed. Compact, clean room and ensuite. Quiet, despite facing onto the road. Very good breakfast, air conditioned dining area. Polite, friendly staff.

The hotel is lovely. The staff are helpful and friendly, the bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was good.

Nothing except the area was a little bit run down. But that didn’t affect us for one night
