Fabulous location! Wonderful and very kind staff. My mother, who has mobility issues, was so well looked after.Perfect place to relax and unwind! And those amazing bird songs are to die for!

Probably some may find it quite isolated from main town of Kandy.

Location is very good near the dam waters. The guests are welcomed in a traditional way which was nice. A butler is assigned on check in. A mobile is provided to connect quickly with the butler. This is a nice experience.

Located in a very nice place but no way to walk around and enjoy. Room Service was poor. No replenishment of water or coffee / tea unless asked for. No numbers provided to call for Service or contacting reception, from room. Not value for money.

Nice views. Hotel looks clean and new. Very friendly staff. The hotel is quite remote and small. So if you are ok with relaxing then it is a great hotel. The food was amazing both dinner and breakfast was really great.

Nothing much. Note that there isn’t a gym in the hotel but that was ok.

A serene, elegantly designed boutique hotel with excellent service, nice pool, Balinese wellness, great food, and gorgeous surroundings—ideal for a restful getaway near Kandy. Beautiful are your room’s big balconiy where uou can enjoy your after dinber drinks with a good cigar.

Lovely position very quiet , our room was fantastic with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and river .Staff very helpful , restaurant very smart with great food .

There wasn’t a separate bar to sit and relax in .The bar was part of the restaurant which I don’t think works very well

Pleasant enough two night stay here this week but not without fault although I am being picky. Property is pretty remote and not easy to find but when you arrive it’s very nice. Rooms are excellent and the pool area etc is nice. We had breakfast twice in the hotel restaurant as well as an evening meal and the food and drink quality were very good. The service was slow for breakfast at times and we had a very odd moment at dinner where an inexperienced member of staff removed a full drink from our table without explanation. When we asked what was going on a more senior staff member came over and apologised and returned the drink saying the young lady who removed it was a trainee and had got confused. I also had an incident with a faulty sun lounger that resulted in me sustaining a painful foot injury. The staff were very caring immediately after the incident and applied ice to my foot etc. which was kind and caring. Overall, if you are staying in Kandy, I would recommend it.

The room was large and very comfortable. The property overlooks the Misty Mahaweli River and is perfect to come home to after a dusty visit to Kandy. Would happily return.

Clean, aesthetically pleasing rooms and lobby with lots of space. Everything in the room worked well, no hiccups. Prime location next to the river, excellent service. Everyone was supper attentive to us.

Everything was so good it’s hard to say what we didn’t like! If there’s one thing it would be the price - it’s priced a lot higher than other Sri Lanka hotels, but probably worth it.

Lovely design of room - spacious & modern. Whole resort was fantastic. Lovely quiet location overlooking a lake. Illy coffee machine in the room. Breakfast & dinner menus were varied and tasty

Towels were very poor quality - did not reflect the high quality level of the resort

Very good property - especially when traveling with children. Large room sizes, good meals.

Price at booking.com and what was charged eventually was somewhat different (some late tax addition, which wasn't very obvious at the time of booking).

Amazing. The staff, the food, the rooms: everything was perfect. So great to be away from the craziness of the city to appreciate the natural landscape of Sri Lanka. We will come back!

Small hotel, very well maintained and located in a remote and very unique place.

Beautiful boutique hotel situated in a serene environment. Beautiful facilities and good food. Staff very professional and knowledgeable, rooms spacious and very clean. Excellent check in experience.

Location and setting great. Quite and out of the busy city. Staff, food and facilities great.

Price was quite expensive but we only stayed for 1 night

Superb. Small hotel in a beautiful nature setting. Staff is great, even more than great. The best of all is the food in the restaurant. Local and international cuisine is compared to best european restaurants.

It’s a bit far from Kandy and it is not easy to get an Uber or PickMe ride from the hotel. But, that is also a quality.

Access far down the river is quite long and bumpy road.

EVERYTHING!it is a small hotel, located in a remote area, quiet, on the lake. The room was big, with a very comfortable bed, huge bathroom with both shower and tub.The terrace of the room offers spectacular view over the pool and lake.The food was very good, we ate here breakfast, lunch and dinner and we liked all meals! It offers an a la carte menu which we liked very much, we were sick of buffet style ...We tried also the massages, which were pretty nice as well.Last but not least, the personnel was very kind, attentive and always happy to help you with anything you want. They offer you a personal butler which is available anytime for you at a ring distance (they even give you a phone to call him directly when you need anything).
