Noise from street

Went there during Perahera festival, they have a very nice view from the corridor balconies which they accommodate with chairs, free of charge for the hotel guests. That's an incredibly good point.

Everything was great.

Very nice hotel for a little city trip to Kandy. It is located in the centre so you can directly hop into city life.Everything was clean, we had AC, a fridge, all that is needed. Breakfast was fine. Due to ceremony it was loud outside at night, that’s part of the experience. In the hotel itself it’s nice and calm.

Perfect location, staff were incredibly account when we had an early start and got breakfast ready for us. Arranged transfers to station and recommended places for us to visit and eat

Nothing, would stay here again when back in Kandy

Lovely staff and very clean comfortable room for a good price. Decor was much more basic than what is shown but everything was in great working order and breakfast was also good and served with care.

Room and location is fine. What makes this a 10 out of 10 is the staff. The guys there are so nice and they go out of their way to help if you have an issue - good job!

We stayed here for 3 nights, and we appreciated the location. The main attractions of Kandy were all within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel staff were also very kind and helpful.

We didn't mind it, but if you are someone who doesn't like a lot of noise, this area is very busy, since it's in the city centre.

Very convenient location, plenty of dining options around the hotel. Hotel staff members were friendly and supportive. Recommend to get in touch with the team prior check-in and inform on mode of transportation. Limited parking space available but staff members will take care of it. Rooms were spacious.

Only shower gel available as bath amenities.

good little hotel which loses a point because of the breakfast but gets it straight back for having an elevator, located quite well in the city, hotel does not have restaurant, but across the road on corner is a good basic restaurant that also does takeaway. staff are pleasant and helpful and as for the rooms, think 3 star hotel and you will be close to the mark.

dont pay extra for the breakfast, it is very basic, fruit, toast & eggs with the coffee being satchel instant and packet creamer, you can find better for less nearby.

Very central location for a quick stopover in Kandy. Rooms are sufficiently clean and well equipped. Shower and wifi are very good

Breakfast was mediocre (fine if included in price, do not pay extra as several nice cafes around). Some mold in the room and bathroom but totally fine for one night.

The location is in the middle of the city and convenient to everything. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Also there is a staff name Manjula, speak all three languages such as Tamil, English and Sinhala. He is a very friendly person. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone would like to book.

Lighting system in the room. Couple lights were not working. Also light in the bathroom on top of the vanity was not working.

The staff was very friendly and the location right in the middle of Kandy was great.

There was a sewage smell in our room that was slightly unpleasant.

Great location, I think we had room 402 and we had a great view of the giant Buddha, hotel is close to restaurants - highly recommend Cafe 1886 (it's on the first floor) to eat at, it's only a couple of blocks away from the hotel. Comfortable beds. Despite being in the city, the hum of the air-conditioner covered any noise from the street so we slept well.

Our price included pick up from the railway station, however no one was there to collect us. We ended up getting a taxi which the hotel paid for. If you are expecting a railway pick-up I suggest sending them a reminder a few hours before you arrive so you are not left waiting around.

Fantastic location in the centre and great price for it. Fairly basic but perfectly functional for a night or two.

We had a great stay at this centrally located hotel in Kandy. It was within walking distance of the city center and the Temple of the Tooth, which was very convenient.The rooms were spacious and equipped with air conditioning. As a family, we were given two rooms next to each other, which was perfect. There was a bit of noise from the street, but nothing too disturbing. The hotel was clean and well-maintained.The staff was very friendly and helpful, assisting us with our luggage. Overall, it felt like a higher standard than a typical 2-star hotel.
