Pros +
- Awesome location right next to Buddha's tooth temple. Beautiful from inside and styled with great taste. We stayed over Christmas and Christmas dinner was great.
- Great service from very attentive staff.
- Location is great. Friendly staff. The room is clean and comfortable.
Cons -
- I didn't dislike anything. There were signs of damage, and things could have been a bit more clean, but nothing really to complain about.
- The hotel gym is on the small side and the bathtub on our balcony took a long time to fill. Besides that, everything was great.
- Breakfast was good enough but we have had better experiences elsewhere in SL. Also our family room had a strange smell, which the staff took care of but the smell lingered.

Location is great. Friendly staff. The room is clean and comfortable.
Very nice hotel. Centrally located. Close to the lake ( if you are a walker you can do a loop around in 45-60 minutes about 5000 steps) and to the temple. Really good food and friendly and helpful staff
This hotel is a gem! Amazing location in Kandy with very short walk to Kandy Lake and Temple of the Tooth. The staff were all lovely and we enjoyed the breakfast each day plus ordering room service in the evenings. The hotel also arranged transportation for us both to and from the hotel, including a car seat for our baby.

Location was fantastic. Staff was prompt and attentive.

We absolutely loved the location which was right next to the Sacred Tooth temple and Kandy Lake. The room was modern and beautifully furnished. Great buffet breakfast as well!
Amazing clean, 5 star high-end hotel, and a great location with amazing breakfast and dinner. Come to Kandy and support local businesses. It’s open for business and easy to get around since the floods staff here were incredible.
Location was really good. It’s next to the Temple of the tooth and walking distance to Kandy downtown.
Parking situation is terrible. It’s not really sound proof. So we could hear people arranging the buffet, kitchen staff and cleaning staff. The cleaning people started cleaning around 7:30-8am and it’s really disturbing if you need to sleep in. The vacuuming and cleaning of the other rooms can be noisy because the hotel is poor with sound proof.
Everything Probably one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. It’s very rare to find hotels and rooms this clean in Sri Lanka. Very modern and in a great location. I loved the breakfast. Thank you.
from arrival the service levels were very high. The location was brilliant and close to the main streets in Kandy yet 50m away to give it a little seclusion. Food for breakfast was perfect without being over the top. The coffee shop in the hotel was the start needed for the day. Comfortable rooms, small balcony - zero complaints. Very rarely a hotel matches the pictures and this one did.
nothing really,.
A beautiful building in a great location. The staff were lovely and the breakfast buffet was top-notch.
The rooms smelt musty as there are no windows to the outside.
Clean, refurbished , good location. Breakfast and stuff.
Renovations are taking place next to or as part of the hotel. So it is true that there was an apology note and a statement that the noise would start late and stop around 5 pm. In fact, the noise started at 8 am and I was not warned about this before making the reservation. In addition, I booked rooms for 20 people but in the end there were 19 of us. I did not ask for a refund on the bed but I asked for a refund for two days for one breakfast and was refused. The management's ability to show flexibility and goodwill on a reservation of ten rooms was extremely disappointing.
Hotel is located in the heart of town.We were there during the special period when they celebrated their yearly religious ceremony and it was amazing to see the parades that lasted the whole night.Concierge was nice enough to drive my Tuktuk and park it for me in the parking garage that was far away due to the ceremony event.
Everything was good
Welcoming. Accommodating. Eager to please and resolved any problems that arose. Happy 7th anniversary.
Staff welcoming warm
Food was sub par, limited menu. Fish curry for breakfast no thank you
The hotel looked inviting. It's relatively new and built near the Dalada Maligava. Staff are always ready to help and go above and beyond to make the stay comfortable.Beds were the most comfortable. My husband loves the location. Their breakfast is the best. Always have options to suit every taste bud.The spa Ceylon products were great The shower pressure and heat were good.I highly recommend this hotel
The noise from outside the room corridor we could here them. The room size was small.Storage of our suitcase was a bit of a hassle.
My wife and I recently had the great pleasure of staying at Kandy’s excellent Radh boutique hotel for 3 nights during the stunning Kandy Perahera Festival. With a great location on one of the quieter streets in the very centre of fascinating, bustling Kandy, tucked away only a few hundred meters from the Temple of The Tooth, The Radh has it all. From its distinctive architecture, well appointed, clean and comfortable rooms and yummy breakfasts, to its most outstanding attribute, its wonderful, welcoming, genuinely friendly and always very helpful staff, with a special thanks to front of house manager Dhanush, Michael, Abdul and manager Domani, our Radh experience deserves our 5 star rating.P.S. As a really special treat, Dhanush arranged for one of the Perahera elephants to be walked down to The Radh forecourt where we had the great thrill of feeding this magnificent animal. Wow!Tony and Stephanie MeggittAustralia
We had an outstanding stay at The Radh with nothing but high praise.
We had a perfect 1 night stay at The Radh. We booked an Executive King Room which has the little balcony looking out over the road at the front of the hotel. The windows/door are double glazed, so we did not hear any noise from the road outside. Room was spacious and very comfortable with lots of power points in useful places. Bathroom was lovely. We ate dinner at the hotel's Cafe Nihobashi. They have a very extensive menu covering many South East Asian cuisines. The food was very nice. Spice level was right for us (we like spicy). They do not serve alcohol. Our room rate included breakfast. Breakfast was also very nice, with a good selection of foods, and options for a hot breakfast cooked to order. Coffee was good. Note: in Sri Lanka it is common practice for the menu items to be priced exclusive of service charge or government tax, so the final bill is higher as these are then added at in at the end.LOCATION LOCATION LOCATIONThe Radh is very centrally located. A 2 minute walk to the end of the street and you can enter the grounds of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth. Likewise, a 5 minute walk has you at the lake front. This was perfect for us, as we were in Kandy for only 1 night, and it made everything so easy and accessible. There are also lots of cafes and restaurants very close if you chose to eat elsewhere. Location was the main reason for our choice of The Radh. They also greeted our driver nicely and offered him a welcome drink. We really appreciated this.If we return to Kandy for another visit we would definitely stay here again.
The only thing that was slightly odd is that on check out they insisted that we didn't leave until they "checked our room". We were on a tight schedule and this created a little bit of tension on check out.
Close proximity to all the sights and sounds of Kandy. Everything is walkable. Staff were friendly and hospitable. Breakfast buffet while small was mighty and showcased authentic Sri Lankan cuisine.
Construction work and drilling from above starts pretty early in the am and goes through 6pm.
