Beautiful hotel on the hillside overlooking the lake.

good bed and lots of lighting in the room.bathroom was overall fine,

AC unit is present but hardly working... the temp was set to 16 but the air felt lukewarm.the room and hallway had a lot of mosquito and i felt i had to fight with them half of the night.the walk to the proprety is very difficult by foot and you have only one route to take.

Decent hotel but overpriced, but the view & Location is superb.

Very basic room service. No tissues were available in the room, and there was only 1 towel in the room.

The view of the lake was amazing. Workers were so kind and helpful. The food also were delicious and not expensive. If l come Kandy again, l’ll definitely stay here.

Friendly staff waited for us when arriving late. Very helpful in the morning with our car, thanks to Shakiri and his colleagues! Impressive historic architecture.

Very disappointing hotel. One of our most expensive stays in Sri Lanka, but also the worst.Bedlinen was broken, there was no fridge, room was very small, no view (we overlooked the roof of the restaurant of the hotel). They asked us to pay when checking in, which was a bit weird to me. We paid 60 dollars for a night, while we had lovely other hotels for as low as 15 dollars per night. All were better than this hotel.

No hot water in the shower, but not a big deal

Staff very friendly, helpful and proactive. We had a problem with our room and drainage on the first night, so they moved us to a new room without any issues. Water and toiletries provided, hot water, and hair dryer!

The view from the hotel is amazing, but we highly recommend the restaurant. The prices are super, the taste is more super. Ypu should try their menu .Just delicious.. The reception guys were also very helpful.

Absolutely amazing hotel in Kandy and one of the best in Sri Lanka! Great service, very friendly and helpful staff! One of the Managers is incredibly good at his job and welcomed me the best possible way! Staff are very nice and kind! The view is great, it's the best location in Kandy! Rooms are unique, the place has Sri Lankan soul!Breakfast was nicely served! Tea kettle in the room, water, toiletries and an antimosquito repellent, air con and hot water!I booked for one night, but stayed longer as I liked it.Thanks guys, you have made my stay in Kandy (and whole trip to Sri Lanka) very special!

Nothing, it's almost a scam

-Room was not ready for check in at the mentioned time (we entered 1:15 h after)-Room was never cleaned (we stayed 3 nights), even though we were asked to leave the keys on our last night for that same purpose. They just left the key at the door with all out things inside (wth?)-It is not a 4 star hotel, 1-star hotel is more realistic once you see the facilities from the inside-very thin walls, you will be awakened many times at night-manager was rude/uninterested

The location is great! We stayed for 3 nights but unfortunately the room was never cleaned. We went out of water, toilet paper etc.
