Good location. Nice views. Tidy hotel.

Terrible erratic wifi. Check in & check out difficult. Staff friendly, but hard to find.

Location. 5mins walk from the Kandy train station, 15min from the Kandy Mall and lake. A very nice view of the town square and high hills from the balcony. Wonderful and cool nights and a breeze. In the evening you can see the big fruit bats flying on the sky.. Morning bfast was nice, omelette, sausages, bread, jams, margerine and tea. Walked to the train station in the morning to catch my train to Ella. Wonderful convenient.

It was all good an simple place.

All was good. Lower price. Middle of the town. Few steps away from Railway Station, still no rushing sounds.

The man at the desk was unwilling to provide us with breakfast at 8am. Instead haggling for 8.30 and then 8.10… eventually giving in. However, breakfast was good, eggs and sausages on toast with coffee. Location was very close to the main bus and train station and a short walk down the hill to the main city centre. Shower worked with good hot water as did the WiFi.

Location, location, location. Good value for money. Just what I needed for a short stay, catching a morning train to Ella. PRO TIP: There is a shortcut to the train station just meters away from the building!

The entrance is a little bit hard to find. Wi-fi did not work and mobile service reception was low in the room.

We were arriving late and leaving early so the price was fine for a short stay. The staff were nice and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was sufficient. When leaving the train station take a hard right to the path that has white barriers. Crossover to the left about 50-100 metres up the road where the barrier has a space. Almost directly opposite is a small lane way that goes up the hill. Follow that to the end, 150m or so and turn left. The hostel is a tiny doorway to the left with a big white sign at the front. I will post some photos.

It was difficult to find and uphill. There were no food shops nearby, has to walk nearly all the way back down the hill. No air conditioner. This is definitely targeted at the budget or backpacker traveller.

Bathroom in bad condition and stinks, door of balcony very hard to open and close, WiFi of poor quality, breakfast not super.

Very close to the train station and only a 15 min walk into central Kandy so great location.

It is quite noisy with the amount of traffic on the road outside

The breakfast was actually good. Traditional western breakfast. Our kettle was broken and the monastery 400m away began chanting from 5 -6 am so we were up for the day. It is about 300m walking distance to railway. And 800m to s keels grocery store.

Said there was a TV in common area but no TV

Breakfast was amazing, location was perfect for wondering into Kandy and a 5 min walk to the train station.

The room did smell

We only stayed one night as we were leaving for Ella the next day, the room was comfortable, breakfast was good, location was ideal for us (near the train station), we had everything we needed and required. Short walk to central location for restaurants, lake etc.

Location fantastic near the train station but unfortunately you can hear the announcements at 4am and at 5am a call to prayer for an hour.. Nice breakfast.

The location right next to the bus and train station. You can take the AC van for 7500 lk per person to Nawura Elia. The great view from the room. We enjoyed the light breakfast in the morning.
