Kandy City Stay

Amazing room, we loved the decor and the bathroom!! The views from the room were spectacular too!

The location was a little bit further from all the sites, but only a short tuktuk ride away. Its super conveniently located for the train station though (only 10 min walk) so perfect if you're getting the train to the tea Country the following day! P.s you couldn't hear the trains go past or anything.

Disappointing

it was really dirty even the bedsheet, the dorm was in the basement, the toilets were dirty. I wouldn’t recommend it.

First we got room without windows, next day we were told that we can get another room with balcony - nice upgrade free of charge. Brekfast was the best part - we were served like kings. There is nice restaurant in upper floors - food is delicious and for very reasonable price.

Internet in uper floor was slow.

The staff were amazing. Janu is the best babe in Kandy along with the other guys up in the restaurant ? thank you so much guys. I'm definitely staying here again when i go back to Kandy ?

Only thing was that everything closes at 10pm and the blackouts are frequent. ?

Good location close to the Kandy Railway Station, nice view from the window, kind staff.

Room was dirty, there were two crockroaches.

Good location to Kandy train station and exploring the city. Management team were friendly and welcoming. The comfiest bed in Sri Lanka so far, but the hotel felt a bit lacking, like everything needed a deep clean and a refresh.

The girl working at the hostel was helpfull. The dorm was clean and the bathroom also. You have spaces to lock your bag.

Some people don't respect sleep and make noise at 2am... But on the second night I slept very well. I didn't feel safe on the surroundings at night.

it’s so tiny and when the power is off it is horrible because it’s under the ground and has no air source

Walking distance to KCC, Dalada Maliga, Kandy Lake and many places in the city. Rooftop Restaurant, Delicious Food,Large Room.Valuable place for this price range.

No Hot Water, No antenna connection to the TV. All windows are covered.

Helpful staff, sky restaurant tasty meals, aerial roof deck for yoga and relaxation.

The hostel cells are in the basement and give an underground feel - but are well isolated and air-conditioned.

Location very close to the station and staff they were very cooperative and helpful. Also room was excellent.

Had an amazing stay there. Staff were kind enough to help us in many situations. Clean room with almost all facilties.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Food is simply 10 out of 10. Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kandy.

The rooms were well maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable and spreads were fresh. the staff was extremely helpful and supportive. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a place that worth the buck.

There was a railroad nearby. But you won't notice it unless you open your windows and go to the balcony.

Don’t surprise if you didn’t got the same bed as seen on website… Can be much clean in sleeping area..

the room was very comforting, the bed was VERY comfortable, we had a nice view, the water was nice and hot for the shower, amazing uninterrupted sleep. what we liked the most was the view from the bathroom it was luxurious.

the water pressure wasn’t good in the shower or bath.. it took such a long time to fill the bath we even boiled the kettle and put it in. no coffee available only tea. the thing that gives this place a 7 start over all is we had a big day planned the following day and no one informed us we had to pre book the breakfast, we were informed just to go up and it will be open. when we got up for breakfast it was closed and the receptionist said there’s nothing they can do we should have booked. this is not good and we planned to get the train to Ella but didn’t have time for breakfast because of this and we were starving.

Room is clean and tidy. Bathroom also good.

Couldn’t find the location at once. card payments are not excepted. some of the staff members are unprofessionals and restaurant guy and front desk guy embarrassed us at breakfast. I booked my stay including the breakfast and when i went to restaurant the restaurant guy said that breakfast is not include for my booking in front of other guests. Then I asked to recheck and happened same. When i asked about this from front desk. they apologised me and said that he mistakenly checked other booking. At that time we haven’t mood to take breakfast at there. Then we checked out and leave the place.

This was the second visit of ours and we glad to say we met our expectations there. We couldn't try the meals ,but the rooms we had both days were very quiet,and comfertable with a glamour view, especially cleanliness.Even the staff members were friendly,including the lady who is in the reception desk.Suoppose to visit back!

Water does not filter properly in shower cubicle.Rather than nothing.

Found a lot of black ants in the room. Also no TV.
