Excellent breakfast. Superb staff. Most gracious and accommodating

The road to the hotel was steep. Maybe it could be graded better. Once you get there the views are amazing.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and it was perfect. The staff was very helpful and went beyond their means to help us.

A little difficult to reach the place.

We really like the fact that the receptionist was helpful and spoke English. The staff was really nice and proactive. The room was big and well appointed. There was a balcony and we had a greta view. It was super quiet and a nice breakfast was also included. Very nice pool and very welcome after a long day.

The smell of the toilet was not pleasant (smell of urine) and I had to clean it. To find the hotel was not easy, it is situated up in the mountains, and it makes it difficult for tuktuks to pick us up.

The rooms were ok and the breakfast we ordered were great. The outside scenery was amazing.

Too many steps to get around. The AC did not work. No staff at the reception desk when calling at night. Someone in the kitchen came over after several calls. The road to the facility is narrow and not very good.

We had the best stay of our Sri Lanka trip at Kandyan Villa!! Everyone made us feel so welcome and cared about our well-being. They provided us with whatever we needed, and it was just amazing. If you want a great experience, come here!! The view from the rooms is stunning. Also, they have enough space, comfy beds, and a big bathroom. Thank you again for this experience!!

The room and view where amazing. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and were absolutely lovely. The view from the rooms are incredible, one morning we where higher than the clouds! Lovely pool area too and terrace to watch the sunset. We loved our stay here and have recommended to everyone!

Very nice Villa with a good view of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good and fair priced breakfast and lunch.

The hotel did not take our credit card, as the machine "unfortunately" did not work.So we had to pay in cash, but got no receipt.After we left the hotel marked us as a "no show" so it really seemed they where very sketchy for some reason.When we arrived the hotel staff had a VERY heated argument with our driver right in front of us, both my wife and me had to say STOP before they eventually calmed down..... We did not feel confident about the 2 gentlemen in the reception at all!In general the staff forgot about our soft drink order for the dinner that I asked for 2 times. Also the dessert we where asked about 3 times did not get served as we asked for.All in all the staff and hotel seemed to have some problems in their management of the hotel.This is the first time we have experienced above in our 5 month travelling in Asia and Oceania

The view from the hotel is amazing and one can see the distance hills and the greenery with awesome sunsets. The service is great, the staff was helpful especially Shashika who dealt with all our requests and queries effectively and professionally.

The location is a little challenging to reach especially if you are travelling in a large vehicle

Breakfast was mostly a little basic but on the last day it was excellent. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, especially Mr Shashika, who went out of his way to help us.

It was not easy to get transport to the city because of the hotel's location, so a hotel vehicle to take guests to at least the outskirts of the city would have been usuful.Access to the hotel when we arrived was very difficult and a hotel vehicle would have been very useful then too. A wider selection of fruits would have been most welcome. Given the large variety of fruits in Sri Lanka, I was surprised to see the same 2 or 3 fruits served

I enjoyed the Panoramic view of the amazing mountains hills and the lush greens .Staff was very kind and helpful especially Mr Sashika who was so helpful, kind and friendly . His service was superb ?

I wish there was a vehicle that we could hire at the property so our plans to move around could be easier instead of waiting for pickme ?

It was nice and clean and the shower was so nice, must have been the most water pressure we had in Sri Lanka. Great view on the first floor balcony from our room. The host Denash was probably the highlight! He was super friendly, very genuine and honest with us and we also had a good laugh. Nicest bloke we met in all of Sri Lanka, he made our stay. The other staff like Thilina were also very nice and happy to help with anything you ask. The breakfast was a bit steep but it was very very good so we didn’t mind.

It’s a bit out of the way but you get a Tuk Tuk and problem solved.

Beautiful property with cute little pool, very helpful and friendly staff. Really nice big room with balcony.

There was a little bit of mould in the bathroom and quite a lot of ants, but it was a minor inconvenience.

The views were amazing, service from the staff was excellent and the food was good.

The mould on the bathroom walls (also seen on the hotel's external corridor walls) is unacceptable - this could be a nice place if it benefitted from better upkeep.

Really good accomodation, well appointed with very clean rooms, nice bathroom with good water pressure, and an amazing view of surrounding mountains. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and incredibly helpful The breakfast was great.

Couldn’t really fault the property except the driveway leading up to the villa, can be a bit hard to find at night.

The views are incredible from the balcony. The rooms are large, bed comfortable and staff friendly.

Location could be a little difficult if you don't have a car or driver. The price was high through the booking app compared to other similar stays we had.

We stayed at Kandyan Villa for two nights, and I must say the location was superb. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent, offering both Sri Lankan and continental options. However, the location can be a bit challenging to access for vehicles with low ground clearance.The view from the room was stunning, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. They also have a swimming pool, which added to the overall experience.I highly recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone!

The only drawback is that they don’t have satellite TV connections. They only offer a limited selection of Sri Lankan TV channels, and the quality is not clear. This can be a disappointing experience for both locals and foreigners, as it can feel a bit boring to stay for 2-3 nights without better entertainment options

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view was great. The rooms were comfy and clean. The meals were good.

Not much facilties. No cable TV. No shower caps. No hair dryers
