Hotel See Kandy

This was really a good quiet hotel with a view of Kandy town. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms and hallways were clean and very private environment is really peaceful.

Could use more trash bags in the room and also improve a bit variety in continental breakfast will be ideal even if it could a bit more than the budgeted price. also, the staff should warn the customers about the wheeler scammer around would be helpful.

The view from this hotel is of the entire Kandy. It is located near the Kandy View point, so you get to see the entire Kandy lake and the properties around it.They even gave us an early check in as we reached the location way before the check in time.

Quiet location. Amazing view from the room. Friendly staff. Fantastic architecture. Walking distance from the city center (be aware it is still quite a climb). Decent breakfast.If I come back to Kandy, I will certainly book this place again !

The facilities in the room are a bit dated and could use a bit of refreshment.The swimming pool didn't look very appealing.

Modern intimate hotel with private rooms. We had the triple room due to it being the only one left to book. Very large clean and comfortable with a little balcony overlooking the lake and beautiful lush hills. Bathroom, sheets, towels all very clean. Nice big comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing with heaps of food. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the room but it was exactly as shown when booking. Staff were amazing, accommodating and went out of their way to help with everything we needed. Great quiet location up on a hill away from the noisy traffic - a bit of a walk down town but staff showed us a shortcut and it only takes a few minutes to get down to shops, banks and restaurants. There is a nice grassy area to sit and look at the view but unfortunately it was raining a lot so were unable to make use of this space. We will definitely go back to Kandy and stay here again.

The view from the spacious balcony is wonderful. Big room and a hearty breakfast to start the day.

The room we had, and especially the bathroom, is looking like it’s in need of a refresh.

No shower curtains, no hot water and the bathroom door was faulty and didnt close.

Well pocketed on top of a hill with e view to the lake. The hotel needs little update, our room toilet door was not lockable. It is all nice and clean.

Stunning view (so a good 25 min walk up the hill but only a few pounds for a tuc tuc). Big light rooms. Balcony. Breakfast plentiful standard Sri lankan. Friendly staff. Air conditioning and fan. Pool but slightly tucked away surrounded by high walls, clean and welcome though.

Rooms are very tired. Soft but threadbare towels! Bedside lamps but no plugs that fit!

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our rooms were at the very top which gave us a great view of Kandy. As an older woman I was grateful that the staff helped carry my suitcase up the stairs.

Hard walk from town

Lovely views. Clean facilities with large bedroom and bathroom. Nice location to be out of the business of the city but still an easy walk into town, downhill.

Overall, I had a good experience. The hotel was fine and just as I expected – clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant.However, the breakfast was quite disappointing – limited options and not very varied. This is definitely an area that could be improved.

Lovely quaint hotel on the top of the hill.It is clean, has amazing views of Kandy and lovely, friendly staff.Definitely a no frills accommodation but whilst travelling solo it was perfect but also caters for twin or family room.

Suggestion to also offer a basic Sri Lankan breakfast.

Lovely view from delightful hotel. Has a very small pool that looked inviting but we didn't have time for a swim. Lovely breakfast. Room a good size. Very quiet at night. Long walk to city but it was pleasant.

Lovely friendly, helpful staff. We had problems with our train tickets from Bookaway, and they helped us to sort them out. The view to the lake was gorgeous. Bedrooms were spacious. Would have been nice to have a wardrobe with some hangers but we were only there for 2 days

Beautiful views over looking the lake. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Great place to stay if you want to be close by away from the noise of the city.

The rooms were very outdated and our room smelt a little mouldy.

View from our room was fantastic, close to city & place clean, had T.V & tea/coffee making.

No shower curtain & towels looked a bit loved (greyish), no biggie.

High in the hills, easily accessible by tuk tuk. Staff very nice and friendly. Great breakfast
