Atmosphere

The facilities were not available as expected and AC was not working properly, washroom tap was not working and shower hasn’t enough water and also noisy environment.

The owner was nice and helped with the baggage.

The bathroom wasn't clean at all. We had to clean some pee from the WC.The room wasn't very clean neither.It wasn't soap, so we had to ask for at the manager.

The Location is really nice and Calm.The view for the room number 11 is fab.The nice pool.

Bathroom needs some urgent repairs.

Beautiful view. Bathroom quite grubbyAmazing chai tea and coffee. Extremely difficult to find but it was adventurous.

It was quiet apart from barking dogs and I’m sure that they can’t control that!

I couldn’t use the pool. The water was green and I didn’t look safe or healthy to use. The shower wasn’t attached to the wall which is a simple task so you have to hold it over you. The room could have been cleaner and fresher.

The location and staff were great and helpful , pool was nice

Great pool, nice home cooked meal and they sorted out our day trip tours.

The bed was nice and the airco that it worked, even though you could not decide on which temperature

Dirty, no good water pressure or even shower head that was mounted on the wall. Because it was broken. Dirty towels. Pool looked dirty

This place has great views and is in a quiet area. It has the potential to be a fantastic hotel with some time and care. Our bed was super comfortable and the room very spacious.The two guys working there tried their best to accommodate our meal request after our 7pm arrival ( they order it in from elsewhere, it is not prepared on site) and were very polite and courteous. After a long day exploring Sigiriya and the surrounding area, they were happy for us to order in some cold beers.

The whole place needs updating and redecorating. Unfortunately there were several things in our room that weren't good..The air-conditioning barely worked, but the fan over the bed was great.The tv didn't work and was coated in dirt ( we were only there for one night, so not important to us)No hot water and the shower head was no longer fixed to the wall.( we don't mind cool showers)The " provided toiletries" is a small bar of soap ( for just one night, that was ok)The bathroom taps and mirror were very dirty.Paint peeling off the walls.There are no options for breakfast...you get some delicious fresh fruit, a small omelette and lots of bread. I think it was meant to be toast, but wasn't under the grill long enough to get any colour. The tea is great, but if you want coffee, you will get a pot with the grounds still in and no filter.We didn't use the pool, but did notice the water was very cloudy and no pump was running to filter/clean.

There was indeed a bed.

The room was filled with black mold. The bathroom, too, was one moldy infested place. The room stank, and the AC breathed foul stank like a dragon who hadn't brushed it's teeth in over 10,000 years (meaning the AC was probably never ever cleaned and was full of dust and mould too).

Friendly staff and nice and quiet area.

The pool didn't look clean.

The place was good no doubt about that.

The room felt a bit dusty, because the moment I reached to my room and was there for more than hour. I started sneezing due to my allergies to dust

The property is good, it's little far from city but the vibe is quite soothing. There is no nearby places to go and eat also this got some elevation.

It was far, also the kitchen looks stinly

The owner was very helpful and helped us to upgrade the room with no problem, as well as to quickly find the transport.

This is a great affordable option in Kandy. The pool was an added bonus. The rooms were clean, the bedding and pillows could be updated but for the money this was excellent. The location isn't too bada little out of town but very quiet. Not many tuk tuks know where it is and naturally there was a huge variation is charges?

Could do with a bit of updating. The pillows were very lumpy. There were some Russians staying and as usual did their own thing by being loud and brash until very late. Our room was above the seating area and they saw us return with my 10 year old son, but that didn't make a different- The table was covered in booze and we knew it could be a problem!

Very comfy bed and clean bed linen. The garden was beautiful.

It wasn’t clean enough and there were things broken or not working in the bathroom.
