The setting, the atmosphere, the staff were all wonderful . The food presentation was good . Our guide Kumar was fantastic and I had a lovely massage

There was no information about the history of the plantation available or how it currently operates. Too much white bread and pastries. Coffee was disappointing . The tent needed a bit of repair but was great overall

Heaven! We had a family room being a group of 4. We loved it. The boys did the tea factory tour and enjoyed a lot while us girls were chilling at the amazing pool. Delicious food and extremely cozy. Very clean and nice staff.

Please consider that you are surrounded by nature and wildlife so the monkeys might wake you up early in the morning. We loved it!

The location, the activity packages they have. They were even flexible to give us room earlier than arranged as we arrived at the resort earlier.

The leeches! Not that impressed with the tea plantation trip - didn't even get offered to try any of the teas.

The tented rooms are very tired. Lighting is poor. No wifi in rooms and very poor in the lodge. Food is an awkward mix of what they think western tourists like ….. but they have got it wrong and it is expensive. Road in is appalling. Not suitable layout for elderly or infirm.

It rained non stop, but of course it wasn’t the hotels fault. A bit difficult to get there but that was just another plus for us

The beds are way too hard; our backs hurt after 2 nights; you’re happy to get up at 6 am as you just wake up with pain; it’s just a mattress on a wooden board; it gets quite cold especially at night so need to bring warm clothingPrice/quality is not aligned in our opinion

Breathtaking view of the Nuckles mountain from the room, the infinite pool and the dining area. Staff members were very friendly and hospitable. The chef happily accommodated our special meal request and the food was excellent. Special shout out to Nadun, Sanjeeva, Kumudu and the chefs Vishva/ Sunimal for taking good care of us. “

We are nature lowers and loved everything about Madulkellee. Nature at it best, Mountain View, waterfalls, lot of monkeys, birds, deer, goats, … lovely stay

The location. The music the atmosphere, for those who want relax , the stuff are very nice and generous. There is wonderful garden and nice swimming pool. The area around nice for traveling and exploring.

The road to get to the lodge is not welcome. It didn’t interrupt us at all but I can understand that for some it can affect. When you get the resort you want to stay and not go down until you leave.

The tent n15. Very isolated as I requested, thanks for that ! Very nice decoration, really you feel like in Memories of Africa, but with the amazing views.

The road is extremely hard, I was driving and I must say it’s challenging. If you go with a driver, is not your problem. Or you can hire an helicopter.

Excelent! Some minor mistakes but I dont think is always like that! I would stay longer and even come back! Beautiful location!

We were there for only two nights and they decided to do noisy works by our room while that. I think they could have waited one day

It's our 2nd time in Madulkelle Tea and Eco Lodge and we will keep coming back! Inspiring and magical place where you get to sleep just under the clouds. All the comforts. 5-star food. Wonderful experiences on offer for nature lovers. Lovely caring staff who make us feel at home away from home. It's always difficult leaving this wonderful place.

Breathtaking location, well worth going out the way to visit here. we felt like we'd arrived in paradise which I don't say lightly, it was like nothing we'd ever seen before. The views are incredible, the facilities are luxurious and relaxing, the restaurant serves food to a very high standard and the staff were incredibly accommodating. There's a wide range of activities which you can do at the lodge, from cooking courses through to hikes and some self-care (full spa treatments). The staff truly went above and beyond to accommodate our needs specially the meals as my wife and me are vegetarians. We'd come back to Sri Lanka just to visit the resort again.

The access to the resort was a major turn off unfortunately as much as we liked the place the road to get there is atrocious - bumpy, potholed, twisty, narrow, and well over an hour and half like this. Our very experienced driver was fine and got us there ok but ideally need a 4x4 or better still find a helicopter to get there! Also, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. You can access internet only at the dining hall.

The property is gorgeous, the views from the room truly beautiful, the room decor just lovely. The pool and gardens superb. Very friendly and serviceable staff. I wish I could have stayed longer, and no doubt that under sunny weather, it must feel like the perfect place.

The tents and more specifically the zip-up doors need replacement.

The view was great. The bed was comfortable. We hear the driver accomodation was good. The bath was nice and deep and had hot water. The petals on the bed were cute.

It was very windy and the tent we stayed in flapped very loudly against metal poles, at one point I thought it was going to take off. We barely got any sleep. One of the window zips didn't work so we couldn't get the panoramic view. The road is not suitable for a normal car. The small private pool had dirt / leaves which I assume is difficult to prevent but made it not great to lie in.
