The room was huge and had everything you could possibly need. Incredible views from the room and anywhere in the hotel. Staff were all exceptional and very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

AC was a little old and sometimes not working that well. Location is amazing for views and peace/quiet but for that reason it is more difficult to get to at the top of the mountain.

so bad so not clean if you call the room service no answer if they answer thay do nothing am not recommending at all

Scenic views of the mountains, dinner at the hotel restaurant was great and upgraded room was spacious.

The hotel cleanliness was not of a high standard, particularly the pool area. When trying to book excursions, activities or transfers they were extremely unhelpful.

Very comfortable bed, amazing food, very friendly staff. Perfect location for people who appreciate their sleep and don't like to stay in the busy city centre, but to have easy access to it.

Location along way from city and a long way up a hill but fantastic views and very quiet which suited us.Dinner excellent but wines dreadful and certainly not cheap after adding all the extra charges on top of prices shown.Breakfast also excellent.Loved the views.

Not alot of atmosphere,staff very friendly and efficient but lacked any charisma and didn't really want to engage in any conversation.

I don't recommend it. Awful stay. Staff were not good and friendly at all. Booking.com showing 5 star but there is nothing compared to a good hotel. limited food option. i would say hotel is dirty and not clean at all.

compared to facilities room rate is very very high. There should be more option for breakfast. Staff should be more friendly for tourist specially manager.

Such helpful lovely staff. A beautiful location. Peaceful and serene with a very large, comfortable room. The food was excellent too. Russell and the team looked after us well.

we had two rooms. Room 7 was excellent large spacious nicely decorated, nice balcony and we were very happy with it, however the other couple had room 15 which was unimpressive small poor decor and a gap in the window frame, (which they had to stuff with tissue and put repellent spray to stop insects getting in) swimming pool area dated and in need improvement, we had meal which was nice, lovely cocktails and wonderful breakfast. The staff were also very helpful and friendly

We stayed 1 night in Kandy and stayed in Theva Residency. Staff is extremely helpful and kind, it has a nice mountain view. However it’s far from the city center, you need 15 min drive with tuk tuk. If you’re looking for chill and silent environment, you can chose this place.

It’s over priced, you can find better options for this price.

The hotel is located about 10min on a ride up in the hill. We are glad that we chose this hotel because the city center was super busy and noisy, wouldn’t have enjoyed sleeping in this noise. The welcome drink (the ambarella juice) was refreshing and delicious.

There weren’t that many guests so we were usually the only ones having meals at the hotel restaurant. At times we felt a bit awkward surrounded by so many hotel staff (but they were very attentive and helpful!)

The view is lovely and an oasis of calm from the town. Easily reachable from Kandy via Tuk Tuk. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were really welcoming. Great bird watching from the pool and room.

Amazing views and rooms that take advantage of that. Decor a little dated, could do with some updating. Food was very good and breakfasts were great - think it’s cheaper to buy breakfast there than get it included.

It was expensive, could do with some tidying up around the pool.

Amazing stay here , the staff are amazing and very helpful, we did not have a fridge in our room so the manager gave us his fridge, above and beyond hospitality, our room was clean and just beautiful, the views were spectacular,food just delicious, nature and perfection. Highly recommend Theva Residency, five star⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food both for breakfast and dinner was amazing! The view from our room was spectacular!

The steam room and sauna were in need of updating. The bathroom was small.

The hotel is on top of the hill, surrounded by greenery with an amazing view. Room are clean and big. With the tuk tuk you will reach the city in a few minutes. The staff is very nice the manager is always helpful , always available and the food is very tasty.

I had an amazing experience at this accommodation! Everything was exceptionally clean, from the room to the bathroom, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, yet it’s still easily accessible by car or tuk-tuk.One of the highlights was the stunning city view, both from the room and the beautiful infinity pool—absolutely breathtaking! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout my stay.

Pictures are outdated, look better than reality. Food including breakfast is always served and it takes too much time to get it. Bathroom requires renovation.
