We stayed there overnight with family and a toddler, and the experience was truly awful.They had a kettle for tea with tea and milk powder, but it was placed under a TV where there was no outlet. The cord was also too short to unplug the TV and plug the kettle We tried plugging the kettle into a different socket using a multi-plug they provided. The plug was loose, and sparks flew. I had to hold the plug in place to keep the kettle on.The bathroom was adequate, but having a shower there felt risky because a power plug was located right next to it. It felt like a disaster waiting to happen, just one water sprinkle away.The balcony door handle was broken, so I had to find a creative way to open it.The area has a lot of mosquitoes. They forgot to close the bathroom window, and in the morning, mosquitoes were feasting on us. When I mentioned it, they said there were plug-in mosquito repellents in the But we never found it, and it wasn't listed in the room brochure.The service staff was respectful and helpful. But I felt like the manager/owner was just doing the minimum to get the money and skip his responsibilities. He was more interested in us doing the checkout paperwork the day before so he could skip coming in early.Overall, this place appears to be simply checking off boxes to achieve a 3-star status. Maintenance is poor, as evidenced by broken taps, switches, loose plugs, and other issues.

The hotel was really nice with really beautiful views. We had a great stay and a lovely breakfast. The staff were all so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and authentic too. Thank you for having us

The room had the biggest balcony i have ever been in and spectacular view sun set and sun rise stunning.

The location is a bit far away from the city.

The swimming pool were too cold.

Really lovely place. It is up on the hillside above kandy.The town can get hot in the early afternoon, but we found the hotel to be a cool haven. It has cute pool and friendly staff.

It is a 10-15 minute drive from kandy centre. We hired a scooter and it was perfect. We could have alternatively hired tuk tuks, but allow 20 mins when ordering a tuktuk as it may take time to arrive if not near by. The reception will also order a taxi anytime.

The rooms are big and clean. The toilet is clean, has hot water and strong pressure. The breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff.

It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is very well decorated with lovely historic photos. The pool looks clean although we didn't use it as the weather was bad.

There was a menu but the food was brought from another hotel so there was a huge delay. There wasn't much energy in the place and very few visitors, which made it feel a bit strange. It was also far from the main town, which made exploring on foot impossible once night came. There is no alcohol licence, so we couldn't get a drink beyond sprite or coke, which, when you drink and you are on holiday, is not ideal...especially when you cant get into town easily to find a cool beer at the end of a day on the tourist trail. I wouldn't stay there again.

Cleanliness. Chef and overall staff was very accommodating and cooked fresh food.

Plumbing. Climate was relatively colder and hot water was an issue as either it was unbearably hot or biting cold. Pool was clean but offered no view.

Poor hot water supply and they charged me extra even after showing them that My price was .. and they simply said it was their commission . Price shown to me was 471 US dollars but they charged me 518 US dillars

The staff was extremely friendly. Always had a warm and welcoming attitude. The manager Nuwan was very helpful. He had helped us with everything we wanted and made our stay as comfortable as possible.

Very minimal things like WiFi signal wasn’t coming to the bottom rooms,Hot water takes some time and doesn’t come continuously,A little more variety in breakfast would be helpfu,Didn’t have dental kits,Blankets were too thin.

The Wi-Fi was really bad. Also there should be better quality amenities in the room. The milk option in the tea and coffee counter was a non dairy one and was tasting awful. The bedding needs to be better as the bedsheets had holes and was not very appealing.

The manager and all the other gentlemen at the Pine Hill Residence were outstanding. They fulfilled every wish and request. The Chef created lovely menues and our day trip with our Tuktuk driver was one of a kind. We enjoyed the pool and of course the beautiful view. Felt like being at home. 10 out of 10 is not enough;-)

Pool, good location but hard to get there. Quite away from centre of city. Owners and staff is lovely. Very accomodating.
