The rooms are very cozy. The view from the balcony is beautiful. Delicious breakfast. Its 15 min from the center. Quiet place. Owner has tuktuk for journeys to/from the railway station etc

i was so afraid after checking their rating but The host was very welcoming and we asked if we could have dinner and we were given a lovely meal and also breakfast the following day. Theres a fabulous balcony and our room was spacious. We would stay again and would definitely recommend to others.

They keep the shared facilities very clean and the beds were comfortable. Hot water was a plus and the WiFi worked well. best homestay that we had in Sri Lanka! It’s peaceful, service is perfect.

the host was very helpful, he arranged pick up from the intercity train at Kandy railway station. the Tuk Tuk met me well on time.... He provided a good breakfast at short notice. He was very helpful and accommodating to meet my early morning times. it was a comfortable room.... I had to leave early to meet my appointments and he arranged the tuk tuk transport which was safe and on time.... excellant location with easy access to the temple of the tooth...

the room could have been more airy ... however if the windows are opened it is great.

REALLY BAD WELCOMING, we were so sad about that, we got the room witch is we not book, and there is a old guy (he mention his the owner of the property) when we try to explain him we got wrong room he start to shouting us so much, also he was so angry with us because we arrived bit late, really really disappointed at this place, they doing big drama

Nothing…

Everything… nothing was like shown in the picture… we booked 5 rooms they give us 3 rooms.. there was no ventilation no window… AC was not working at all.. electricity was not there half of the time… toilets were not clean at all… bedsheets and blankets were so dirty… there were insects lizards and cockroaches all over the rooms.. there was no hot water… there was no staff at all just one guy… worst experience of my life

The hospitality of the staff

Cleanliness was not good. Reused bed sheets were used. The room was old with very medieval type of old washroom despite being told it is a very good room.

The owner of the property was very rude as he talked to my cousin brother we decided to leave the place actually my cousin brother don't know English the owner of the property asked to remove the shoes before enter to reception I have removed & entered but my cousin asked in Tamil we need to remove the shoes? He talked to me but the property owner replied rudely if you can't remove get the hell out of here I'm the owner of this property I can keep if I like first of all he must know the customer service I have not stay @ the place the person is resist I have realized wen my cousin talked in Tamil he reacted like that I don't recommend this place to anyone booking.com must verify the place before get booking...

The property is run by a wonderful, kind couple. The property is spacious with loads of living space and nice balcony. The owner organised for us to be picked up from the station by tuk tuk free of charge. Breakfast was very good. You can choose English or Sri Lankan option, nice fruit as well as juice & tea/coffee. Location is within walking distance to the centre and all main attractions. The owner is a chef and can cook dinner if requested in advance. Hot water shower was a nice touch as not all places have it in Sri Lanka.Hot water was provided to us for a nice cup of tea at the end of the day.
