ibis Blois Centre Château

There's no plugs for US shaving machines with 110V, I had a hard time shaving and had to purchase a clipper for a week at 100 Euros...

Location

I had a pleasant stay at Ibis Blois. The room was very minimalistic — no wardrobe or safe, just the basics — but everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good (self-service), and the location is excellent. Overall, a simple hotel with everything you need for a short stay.

The lift was very old and small but quite quaint.

Great location, next to chateau. Fairly good AC which was important in a heatwave. Grocery store across the street. Friendly staff. Fantastic old elevator. As always Ibis gets extra points for accommodating cyclists with a safe place to park the bikes, which is why we stay there

Not enough hooks in bathroom. Great to have a drying rack and hot water pot. TV is not smart? so only has French channels with no options for those of us whose French is not so good. After a long hot day of cycling sometimes you just want to watch Netflix with a beer from the downstairs bar! ???‍♀️

The staff was lovely. We appreciated access to a fridge and secure bike storage.

Helpful staff, good breakfast with a good choice of food , close to everything , castle within 5 mn , clean and comfy

The hotel is wonderful and front desk staff exceptional and over the top helpful. They were the best reception staff I have ever encountered in the hotel- especially Gabriel and the young woman who worked from desk on Thursday and early Friday- she completely handled getting us a cab for our tour of chambord chateau and back to train station when we were leaving. The only suggestion I would make is if the hotel would install small room safes.

Very well located to the Blois castle, a commercial street and the train station. Had a room facing the back and there was zero noise. Breakfast was abondant and available from 6:30 onwards which is good because I am an early riser. Plenty of tourist info in town and castles in the area.

We had a fabulous time and special thanks to staff, especially William. Easy walk to station, sights and shops. Good breakfast. We were very happy!

Street view is great, but slightly noisy, but that's ok.

Elevator a bit small.

The staff was super friendly, the location is perfect in the center of Blois and the room was very clean. Exactly what we wanted for 1 night stay.

Really hard to say?

Central location in Blois. Historic but renovated and well maintained building. Friendly, helpful staff. Good space for storing our bicycles. Welcoming public spaces. Excellent breakfast. It did not feel like a chain hotel even though it is part of Ibis.

Nothing Not to Like.

The staff and breakfast and location. The bathroom was decent too,

The bed. Dreadful it was a small double. It had a mattress topper which didn't stay in place during the night. The bedding was far too big for the bed so kept falling on the floor , Didn't sleep well at all

Centrally located only 8 min walk from the train station. Cool building, very quite in the room so easy to rest well. No problems leaving bags after check out if needed.

Rooms are a but small but its the segment of hotel that has it. Otherwise everything was good!
