Hôtel Aux Vieux Remparts

Excellent location in the heart of the old town, spectacular bar in the cellar, very good breakfast, big room size and nice bath tube.

It would have been great to have a minibar or at least a fridge to keep water or other drinks cold.

Nice hotel in a beautiful timbered village. The hotel has a modern annex where most of the rooms are situated. There is a restaurant on site and a beautiful 11th century cave bar which must be seen.

The meal was good but a bit pricey.

Provins is a lovely venue and the keep is well worth the visit

The young Black waitress was exceptionally efficient and kind. The tall man who received me in the dining room was scowling and unfriendly, until I said I was a guest at the hotel. He should not have acted suspicious, as though I were trying to steal something.

Be careful!!! Pay attention when you are gonna pay, i had paid on Booking app and when I arrived at the hotel they told me that I had to pay again because booking it was for reservation and it’s not true so the booking has been charged twice and I haven’t received my money back one month later because the hotel used another company’s name to charge it.

Beds squeaked badly and weren't particularly comfortable. Whole place looked very tired. Reception staff weren't particularly friendly.

It is full of character, is very central to the medieval city and has parking.

We were told the wrong late night access code and were stuck outside in the pouring rain for 10 mins. There seemed to be a lot of damp in the property.

Well located. Has a Spa but it was closed. We took the massage which was excellent. Has a parking for clients.
