Kyriad Direct Dreux

Location is good. Easy check in check out 24 hrs/dayFriendly helpful reception staff.Value for money for a budget hotel 1 night stay when driving back to the UK.

Bed linen was clean but there was a stale smell of smoke to it.The room heater didn’t work and we couldn’t double lock the room door. Mould on ceiling in the bathroom above the shower and in one corner of the bedroom.

Great bed and nice linen. Good shower, good pressure, hot water fast and a good hot temperature. Nice towels and a bar of soap. Everything I needed.

The room smelt of stale cigarettes and male oder.

Both of the young male receptionists were very helpful and charming, especially the one who checked me in. I hope get gets to visit the UK soon! ? The room was basic but spotlessly clean and provided everything I needed for a great night's sleep.And the shower was super and easy to use, even though it was ultra modern. This can often be a challenge for an "older person", figuring out how to turn on the flipping shower.Breakfast was excellent value for money. Plenty on offer. I had two cappuccinos.My only "issue" was that I only saw the name Kyriad after I'd parked up and walked to the entrance! And yes, free parking was a bonus....

As mentioned above I might've missed it because I didn't see the name Kyriad on arrival! Luckily I believed my satnav that I'd arrived...

Dirty stains on door, very narrow room and beds, no waterkettle for tea

Good location with food and groceries nearby.

Poorly designed layout which made small room seem smaller. No smart TV which is ridiculous in 2024.

The property was clean and the staff very helpful. He even waited after checking in time to greet us and lock up.

The bed was extremely creaky and made a noise on every move so our sleep was not good. The shower was very small so if you’re on the large side you’d struggle but was adequate for us.

We were here in Dreux for a paintball tournament so this hotel was perfect for what we needed. There are no amenities in the room just beds and a very small shower/toilet room. Breakfast was ok which you can take out or eat in. Staff very friendly although very relaxed.

The noise of other guests until early hours who receptionist didnt seem bothered about when I spoke to them multiple times.TV did not work.Radiator did not work.

Comfortable mattress and adequate storage for an overnight stop. Decent shower pressure.

On arrival in the afternoon we had to wait for a long time before anyone came to the reception desk. There was a large queue of people by the time a member of staff appeared.These following comments are about the build quality of the building, not the staff: Very small room, making it difficult to move around when there’s more than one of you.Shower not high enough for my son to be comfortable. Shower curtain unpleasant, but I guess it allows for easier movement for a larger person in such a small space.Sound proofing was very poor with respect to plumbing. We could hear other rooms flush toilets, use showers etc within the walls, Very loudly, sounding like waterfalls within the room.

For the price I paid, that was a very good location: Clean, spacious, lots of parkings. The surrounding area was more industrial style; if you just want to stay overnight, the location is more than sufficient! I in fact would have loved to stay a bit longer to explore the environment.

For me, the facility was more than OK, especially if you consider the price I paid. So nothing to complain about.

A better quality of hotel than the last Kyriad Direct we had stayed in so a much better experience. Had somewhere to store the bicycles, which was our method of transport.

On route back to Calais

The tiny bathroom especially the sink and shower, the small hard pillows and how warm it was in the bedroom.

The hotel was good value when compared with others in the area. The room was perfectly clean with nice sheets. The shower was powerful with plentiful hot water. The parking is very secure right by the hotel. The hotel is a quiet area.The hotel welcomed our dog and charged only 5 euros for her to stay.

Air conditioning would have helped as the night was humid. The room was a little small for us. The hotel is a bit of a walk to restaurants, a little bit further than we had expected.

The door did not lock and it was in the process of being done up but not really fit to stay in.
