    Pros +

    • Attention to detail.Responsiveness of staff.Room.Bar.
    • Excellent location, very comfortable, excellent staff, great breakfast
    • The food was excellent, the staff was quite helpful and friendly, and the room was both comfortable and well-laid out. The bathroom was also lovely, and there was more than enough space for clothing storage.

    Cons -

    • All good
    • Restaurants both full, spa very busy so could not use either. Expensive
    • The breakfast buffet, while nice, was not quite at the same level as the other food options in the hotel. There was also some road noise outside the hotel room, especially in the morning.

Private parking. Well maintained. Walk to village and Chateau.

Slow running water for bath but good pressure for shower.

    The building near the gardens.

The dry martini. The bartender does not know anything about drinks.

Beautiful old chateaux in the very quaint little town of Chantilly, with lots of history. 40 minutes from Charles de Gaulle airport. Taxi cost 80 euros. A very good place to stay on your last night. Dinner was excellent, steak with sauce was outstanding. Staff helpful.

Deceptive advertising. Picture shows a parterre garden like a historic chateaux, implying it belonged to this Hotel. No, it is the garden of the Chantilly Chateaux which is next door. I had visions of strolling this garden after dinner and felt tricked. The reception staff is excellent. The maintenance staff is not. One of two lightbulbs in our bath was out, as was one chandelier light. Our phone did not work because the plug was loose and would come out. The maintenance person fixed the bath light but left the rest. The property is a bit shabby and dated and needs a renovation. We were in the Junior Suite on the 3rd floor. It was plain and rather dull, except for the great bed and headboard. This hotel is not up to Relais et Chateaux standards.

    Location and style

Old carpet smell ( but it was very light and overall not an issue at all )

Perfect location for visiting Chantilly, staff very helpful overall..

Our room overlooked the main cobbled street which is very noisy when there is heavy traffic and as the air conditioning wasn't working and we needed a window open it meant we had an uncomfortable / disturbed nights sleep..

I was disappointed with this hotel. It is a beautiful building in an excellent location. But there is a lack of grace and quality I expect in a Relais & Chateaux property.

First I was shown to a room which wasn’t the type I booked. Then when I switched to a garden view (beautiful) the windows didn’t open—a fatal flaw. My friend and I arrived from the airport and missed lunch, but we were very hungry. At first the bartender told us we couldn’t have anything to eat. Then after asking about room service to be brought to the bar, he produced a limited menu. For 25 euros, we were served the most disgusting, soggy sandwiches on 3 layers of mushy white bread. It was our only bad meal during 8 days in France.Worst of all, we needed a taxi to the train station in Paris. The front desk told us the time to leave in order to have plenty of time and they arranged a car for us. The next morning the taxi arrived 10 minutes late, and the driver told us we would surely miss our train. I managed to switch our tickets, but we had to wait 3 hours and it was stressful and entirely the fault of the hotel concierge.

It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful location

Some of the staff were terrible. They made us feel like total idiots. They were unwelcoming. The reception was fine and the room service was great but the rest of the staff… in the bar and restaurant were rude. Sadly I won’t return.

Perfect few days in beautiful Chantilly

Friendly and knowledgeable staff( particularly the concierge)

the staff were exceptional - the kind of service that is not easy to find in France. Very professional. The hotel itself is very charming and had a lovely decoration. The restaurant was also impressive.

the breakfast was indeed very good but honestly a bit pricey.

    Perfect location ??沒有更棒的位置了

Service standard! This is not a Relais & château system’s stander!! Receptionist gave us the wrong information which made our plan change . We could not find anyone in the front desk several times ! Same situation in the boutique shop ! We had both dinner and breakfast , the food is not so remarkable and delicious as we were told . The amenities in room “Rituals ~~”is suitable for motel or 3-4stars hotels ,not for hotel charged like this one .

    4WimPosted on: 1-25-2024

The rooms were to expensive for the facilities. Other hotels near by ( ex. in la chapelle en serval the Mont Royal ) offer a better value for money rate. We also were not so enthousiast about the restaurant.

    4CarolinePosted on: 9-7-2023

The view was great, but you could could only look. No option to walk in the park whatsoever. Absolutely no outside space despite photos which let you to believe there were grounds to enjoy.

Hotel might have been a good 3/4 star hotel once, but it is most definitely NOT a five star hotel. Staff are not trained Abd very stiff. There is zero ambiance. A little like walking into a cave it is so dark everywhere. The style is 1980s, extremely old fashioned. Pillows had sponge pieces in them like a cheap hotel, towels small and thin. Our waiter at dinner was so gormless it was staggering in a so called 5 star hotel. I asked the receptionist to put my phone on charge and 45 mins later no one had done it Abd I had to leave with no battery whatsoever. For 760 euros per night I am staggered that they get away with it. Will never stay again .

The service, the staff and the attention to details. This how a 5 star experience should be.The restaurant was very nice too.

I rarely say this, but nothing was off.I will come back
