Hotel Oceania Brest

Overrated 4 star hotel, rooms and furniture are worn and not very clean, breakfast is in the underground, a sad-looking 80's style tropical acquarium welcomes the guests that have to climb upstaitrs to reach the recpetion. For a 4-star hotel and price (for Brest) I would have expected something different.

The front desk staff were warm, friendly and very helpful.

My room was very small and the bathroom cramped.

Good location. Welcoming staff. Rooms clean & had wooden floors not carpet. Good choice at breakfast with fresh fruits.

The smell from the drains in bathroom kept overpowering & me awake even with door closed. Rooms are clean but not 4 star appeal with magnolia paint plain wall and no pictures. A bit stark.

Location for me was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful. My room was good. Staff were helpful.

Room was basic but beds and shower good. Staff was a bit negligent and the bar staff was completely nowhere….

Service level was below expectations

Room was reasonable size for city hotel. Restaurant was superb as was service. Location great.

We were told to keep our windows closed “ for our comfort”. We tried using air con as room was too hot for our dog, but didn’t work, therefore, opened windows. Huge problem as the noise outside the hotel was unbelievable! It lasted all night and was mainly youths just loitering. They all disappeared at about 7:30am when it became remarkably quiet! We were told parking was close by, but there was nothing close, nearest car park quite a distance to walk.

Clean, renovated, light and good food.

A colleague had no heating and had to change rooms at midnight - staff didn't offer any compensation for this - no reduced rate - nothing, which i thought was poor customer service.

I had dinner at the restaurant: the food was good, but we had to wait almost an hour to be served. When I went back up in my room, the heating system was broken. A staff checked, but there was nothing to be done. I was given a heater but the bathroom did not have any heating possibilities nor plugs to plug in the heater . I woke up with a cold.They offered no compensation when I checked out in the morning. Nor excu.

Breakfast very noce and hogh food quality very nreton and we liked it a lot. View on tje aquarium os realmy nice too.

The access to lobby from tje entrance no cjpice stairs onmy with heavy liggages it is not handy. Amso access to restairant is from loft only maybe necause pf Covod ?? Else thal that nothing to crotocize.

Everything was perfect. Staff very welcoming and professional.Restaurant is very good.Situation in center city close to tram, to train station, shops is excellent.

Good staff and helpful smile, large rooms and modern, good restaurant good insulation good view, near restaurant coffee shops.

The entrance with scales and hard to get to reception if you have luggages, or handicap.

Central, comfortable, friendly and clean.

Restaurant was so-so.
