Hotel Saint Louis

Does not look like the pictures. There is no true hotel lobby. You feel like you’ve booked an Airbnb. As a solo female traveler I would NEVER book this again. Also not clean - gross carpet and there were hairs on my blankets. Would never stay here again. Terrible customer service and terrible customer service from Booming.com. I will never book through Booking.com again.

The rooms were spacious with renovated bathroom and the location great

Location was good. Staff was nice, although their knowledge of English is very limited.

No facilities, very modest breakfast with no eggs or hot food. Dated rooms, no international channels in English on TV.

We loved the location of the hotel. We had a lovely stay. We had cycled from Roscoff and were looking forward to a good restful nights sleep. The room was clean and tidy and spacious with a lovely bathroom. The water was cold, however we mentioned this to the reception staff and this was swiftly fixed. We found delicious food near by and then enjoyed watching the womens euro football on the TV in our room. We had a wonderful stay.

It was cheap, and close everywhere

It was no so clean, the bed was not so confortable and there were lot of noise between bedroom but also from the street

Clean and comfy.

The bed was comfy, but the mattress pad was stained and needs to be replaced.Also, I had to call reception after hours and the person I talked to did not speak English. Normal for Brittany, just wanted to give anyone reading this a heads up. Be prepared to speak French :)

The bed had blood stains on the basis of it. The bathroom is in the cupboard !!! That you cannot close from inside. The hot water in the shower was very not intense and slow. Maybe all the hotel was showering at 9 pm?Stains of hands on the blue wall and stains of killed mosquitoes on the ceiling. Like at least 5 of them, still dead there. No sound isolation at all! When people came to their rooms at midnight I honestly thought they came to my room. The sounds were so intense that I could hear their phone vibrate, them using the bathroom.

Good location, cheaper option in Brest

Check-in times not convenient. Set of towels missing in the room and we were told that they were drying and would be put in our room when ready. En-suite bathroom in a cupboard.

1. The fourth floor has a balcony where you can sit, eat, drink, and enjoy the sunset.2. The location is excellent. It is close to the train station, shops, restaurants, tram line, grocery stores.3. Staff was very nice.4. There's an option for limited buffet breakfast-- coffee, tea, juices, pastries, bread, cold cuts (ham). Good if you are not up for looking around for breakfast restaurants.

1. No elevators so those on the fourth floor, good luck.2. No sound proofing. We could hear other guests go up and down the stairs, locking and unlocking their door, and coughing in their room throughout the night. I'm sure they could hear us too.3. Bed was not too comfortable. We could feel the spring coils. Also, it was a bit too firm for me.4. There was no exhaust in the toilet. 5. No AC so I can't imagine how anyone could survive in the summer. No electric fan either, and I'm not sure if one is provided in the summer. We stayed at the end of May so the weather was around 20-23C.

so many things to list down, how ever following is most important thing that people need to be aware there is no lift, I have put up in 4th floor, I had knee injury, there is no one to assist and no front desk functional all time, I had to suffer climbing up with heavy suitcase no air con, door has traditional key ? there is absolutely nothing functional at this hotel

very very noisy, we could hear the other clients next to us. it was very disturbing !
