Acclaim Pine Grove Holiday Park

The accommodation, normally stay in hotel/ motels but this was great having your own little place with everything you need in natural surroundings and the kids loved it. A home away from home.

If I had to say anything it would be the mosquitoes

The location

I like to swim and the pool looked green......was not nice very off putting fog the whole stay.

Location was good but I think Espernace is pretty small. Kitchen had all required stuff but no refills of milk for 4 days.

Bathroom. It was a big NO for us. Smelled all the time and too stuffy.

the bed in double deck have pizza, the beddings not clean, the floor is sticky and rough. have something in the kettle. my husband went back to the reception but nobody there.

It had everything we needed. The staff were lovely.

It was a little dated and the floors creaked badly. The was no sneaky toilet trips. You woke everyone up.

The property was advertised as having a pool when we got there the pool had been made into a garden area. The beds were uncomfortable and the floors were dirty and sticky. The shower pressure was good but unfortunately had hair and soap left in it from previous people. The exhaust fan and fans in the bedrooms were also dirty. The location was quiet this was nice but nowhere near the sea.

Staff lovely, park home was adequate for our needs but could do with a deep clean the park itself could really do with some TLC price was very affordable for us which is why we booked so overall anyone wanting an affordable holiday with family would get it here. Beds comfortable good hot shower and park home very roomy

The reception staff were lovely.

There was very little room between the bed and the walls, most of the windows did not open.The shower cubicle had mould on the walls and the floor of the shower felt spongy underfoot.A pool is advertised but there is no pool.

Tired and dated, although clean and things worked.

Not one thing. Should not have been let to anyone .Whole cabin needed a total refit. Even the new owner and manager agreed that we should be refunded the total amount.

Air-conditioner was filthy, benches dirt, microwave still had food residue in it plus grease on outside, and range hood covered in grime. Floor very dirty and the windows were covered in a scummy film so impossible to see out. I cleaned ,swept and washed ever surface down before use. The Kitchen tap dripped continuesly, bathroom shower so old and mouldy it needed replacing. Bathroom basin not cleared like everything else wasn't. Only stayed one night as too late to speak to staff.Next morning Friday 21st of March approached the office staff manager and owner who offered us a total refund. I have been trying , unsuccessfull to contact booking.com since Friday 21st March regarding this refund . Can you please contact Acclaim Pine Grove and sort this refund asap please as we had to then pay for further accommodation elsewhere for the remaining 5 nights.You deducted two payments from our credit card on 16/3 and 18/3 . I would appreciate this matter being taken care of asap. Thank you it was a very distressing experience and as my husband has a chest condition it was impossible for us to stay there for fear of him contracting a chest infection for the filthy Air-conditioner.

Dissapointing, especially for a 5-day stay.

The unit was not clean. The decor was dated. Bathroom was awful, with wash basin too small and no place for toiletries.

Very little, only the hot water was hot.

Everything. The booking.com site pictures that Acclaim Holiday Parks put on were very different to what the property was actually like. The place was very old and worn out, it smelled terrible, toilet door stuck, it was filthy.Refused to stay in the ‘booked’ cabin, it was disgusting. Only stayed in the 2nd choice because there was nowhere else to go, Esperance was booked out.

This park has been badly let go. Housekeeping is sub standard at best, cabin was not well equipped, grounds are dismal. I cleaned the windowsills and sink wen i arrived.

Quiet! Roomy!

The telly worked but is too high up to look at comfortably. Shower floor odd and all noisy!

They allowed my partner to check in with a booking under my name, I was running late to meet him

Had a bit of an unpleasant scent, I think coming from the bathroom

For a last minute booking it served us well. The cabin AC was on point. We had a stove top and oven to cook/make meals with. Location was a bit out of town but easy enough to get in.

Its a bit of a dated caravan park. There was no pool even though we saw one in pics. Bed was not comfortable.

Chalet was very good- comfy and clean, good facilities. Location in industrial area, landscaping terrible- really run down, hot and dry!

Pool filled noisy road ,apon arrival couldn't find anyone, lock on the door hanging off so couldn't lock it when out bathroom door falling apart just to many things ,just wouldn't recommend this place at all

Friendly staff. Beds were comfy enough.

All internal roads are full of potholes. This property is opposite an industrial estate/ truck yard and on a 24/7 busy truck route. Not the nicest part of town. The place is looking and feels run down. Pool filled in with sand. Toilet blocks are locked at about 8pm so no access after then. Overall, not worth the money.

Very poor quality building.Drains didn't drain.Shower was very cramped.Lots of light leaks in.Lots of road noise from early in the morning.Uncomfortable bed and pillows.Injured our feet multiple times on the uneven floor.Generally we had very poor sleep and injured ourself a lot due to cramped conditions and poor maintenance (we're not big people).
