North End Motel

The fair cost for a family of four. The easy location.

It's not very clean. It's fine, we survived but wouldn't want to hang out longer than one night in it.

The first motel I've stayed at that had decent lighting. I could actually read my book at night.

Seemed like a fairly new building compared to other units. Unfortunately the fixtures and fittings were on the cheaper side.

It was affordable.

Stairs felt a bit wobbly. I have minor mobility issues. If I had known would had requested something downstairs. Had to ask for help to get tv working. Could not get hot water to work in bathroom sink.

It was basic clean warm. That's all I needed for the night. I will return some day

It was good. Nothing negative to say

The room was spacious, clean, had a kitchenette, bed was comfy. It was a budget motel, value for the money and provided us with a good place to rest for the night, with ample parking.

The shower lining needed some maintenance but it didn't affect it's function.

No breakfast, location almost perfect for our specific needs.The bed was good, and the TV actually worked. We often have issues with bad signals, etc., in other places.

It is budget accommodation, one should not expect too much, and overall it is fine, but it is getting a little worn around the edges here & there, for instance, the coating off the back shower panel was almost completely gone, exposing the wood & needs replacing fairly urgently, but I think things are being done & the industry has gone through some tough times, so budgets are restricted.

Bathroom light wasn’t working, floor made a bit of noise but otherwise perfect for what I needed

Shower is dangerous for me as an old person - needs handles inside Also needs a couple of easy comfortable chairs

Location was easy to find no problemThere was a problem with our finding us as accidently I left phone at home and my sun was trying get in touch with us .Staff were extremely helpful and we got problem solved .location was convenient as we traveled to Auckland.

Disappointing

Older style. Wouldn't stay again, shampoo container empty, half a roll of toilet paper, no soap ...

The floor was soft under the feet, we didn't have enough towels and the shower leaked under the glass...

Perfectly adequate.

No tissues provided despite a warning to use them for makeup removal. Plug did not fit the basin. No non-slip mat in the bath. Shower gel dispenser was empty.

Close to Highway, though really pretty quiet.perfect for staying over night when travelling. Lovely river view.

Super friendly proprietor. I had some unusual needs, and they went out of their way to help. Views over the fields to the river were very nice (for my tastes) and give the sense of really being out of the city).

A lot of stuff was quite old. The curtains let in quite a bit of light. There is no air conditioner, though opening the windows gives plenty of refreshing cross-breeze (but open windows let in traffic noise). Amenities were quite basic.
