Fridge, bench and couch included in the lounge area attached to our room. Space. Greenery. Beds were comfortable. Staff welcoming.

Outdoor walk to toilets, shower block, kitchen and wifi areas. Hearing the other guests in the attached room through the wall.

It's well located. I stay in my car because it saß raining.

The ladies showerd were okay, there was no hooks to hang the towel or the clothes.

The easy parking

The receptionist was initially rude on the first phone call. The Booking.com booking saved the day, and we had a roof over our heads for the nightAlso no complimentary towelsNo Wifi in the room

A clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay. Stayed in the women's only dorm which felt safe and inviting. Loved the natural surroundings and watching the blue eyed eels in the stream. Exceptional shower pressure!

Unfortunately one of my dorm mates had a particularly funky odour which made it hard to sleep one night but that's part of the charm of staying in backpackers right?

Lovely relaxed accommodation surrounded by nature. Clean and friendly.

The bed up against the wall, it made the sheets wet.

I’ve never stayed anywhere like this!I thought we would be in a separate cabin like most leisure parks but it was a small room in a house almost. The room backed onto the communal shower which was quite noisy.5pm check in was a pain and when we asked to check in earlier they said they would get back to us and then didn’t.Once we were checked in, my teenage sons were then approached like they were trespassers. Made us feel very unwelcome. If anything else had of been available I would have left

Shared dorm. Happy to find at late notice. It served OK. Understandably there was some disturbance in the night.

Mens Showers had no changing area. The shower itself was clean and perfectly acceptable.

Perfect location, nice a remote but only a 10min drive to New Plymouth CBD. Lyn the manager was friendly and helpful.

Limited hot water in the showers due to the property being full … we coped

Manager Lynn was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Room small but tidy, and nice location tucked away in nature very close to the town center

Walls are quite thin so not much privacy. Other guests pretty loud but did go quiet at a reasonable time

Great Staff. Upgraded us to better accom. Very helpful. Clean linen. They even gave us some free towels which we were supposed to pay for. Kitchen was clean and tidy.

Cold room, beds were uncomfortable, felt damp.We booked the bigger family room. We were moved inside due to weather but then that room was very cramped

I loved the staff, our room was good and spacious. the location is central but i felt like i wasn't in the city. very easy going. i loved how hot the showers got!

one window in our room had no curtain and didnt close fully. it was cold and let a draft through. our neighbors were horrible unfortunately. staff tried to do what they can but ultimately theres only so much you can do
