Novotel New Plymouth Taranaki

The room was large enough and the bed very comfortable.

Fresh milk supply in the room instead of having to call for it or fetch from reception

The bed was comfortable, although a little squeaky on the sides

The continental breakfast selection was quite limited for the price

Restaurant the staff were excellent the shower/bathroom area was excellent and the shower was awesome

My bed was uncomfortable the room was a little out dated but otherwise good

The room was very clean and nice. Lots of nice touches one would expect in more expensive hotels. Beds very comfortable. Great location. Breakfast was so yummy -- actual real eggs! Staff were amazing. Will definitely go back.

Room is clean and wide. Beds are comfy

Floor just meh. Bathroom water spills out the shower when you bath.

The hotel is very modern and clean with exceptional staff service. Both the evening meal and breakfast were sumptuous and tasteful. The suite was very well laid out, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom area very clean. I will stay again in the future.

Nothing. Everything met my expectations

The hotel is modern and clean, rooms are very quiet even though we faced the road. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choices and available until 10am so no need to get up early. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Location and room was spacious and clean

Facilities and buffet breakfast options could be better

Very clean, modern and very close to the city centre. The staff were very welcoming.

The only criticism I do have is the food. This is based solely on what I ordered the first night we arrived there.

Clean & comfortable for a night’s stay.

A bit isolated from the town proper - not too far though but not walkable when the weather is not good.Milk needs to be requested. First time I experienced this so was unpleasantly surprised. When we checked in the front staff was a bit distracted so it took a while to go through the process. In contrast, the lady in the reception when we checked out was pleasant and explained things well.I hope to have a better experience next time.

Dinner was great.Room was comfortable and good size.

My shower was slanted towards the bathroom door and couldn't be straightened. i didn't bother mentioning it because it had obviously been happening for a while as the bottom of the door had a lot of water damage. Parking was difficult even if it was paid for. No parking available when I came back from dinner. Some guests had their name on parks.

Bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast buffet average as was in room service. Great location.

the quiet room

the room service menu 24 hour

The room was nice, breakfast was good

The doors slam very loudly and woke us up

A great rate for a two-bed roomed suite with excellent breakfast in the morning. Will definitely stay again when I'm in New Plymouth. Great idea with the mountain bikes free to hire as well.

Great staff . Great location, spacious rooms

Would love a pool

Great place to stay. Beds were very comfortable indeed.Breakfast had a great selection to choose from. Location was good, not too far from the centre of things.

nothing outstanding to note.

Private and quiet rooms. Good blackout curtains. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I paid for parking, but the way the paid car park is run is a bit of a joke. Either we should all get reserved spots after paying the base fee or no-one should.

Up to date, clean and friendly staff

Limited free parking

Very well situated, close to shops, walking distance to beach, clean. We enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this hotel.

Could have had a little more parking but overall good.
