The rooms were great, we upgraded last minute to a two bedroom apartment and received fantastic service.

Great location right in town, close to excellent dining options for both dinner and breakfast. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of space, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

What a great place to stay. We booked a studio - huge room and KS bed, large bathroom and shower with good hot water, aircon that can be controlled in each room, tea and coffee making facilities (including coffee machine) + microwave and fridge. I had put in a request to be at the back as had read that rooms overlooking the street could be noisy) and found our room to be very quitet. Sliding doors opened to a small balcony. Wifi was good (though a little slow on a busy Saturday night). Crucially, there was free parking because most hotels in New Plymouth charge a minimum of $25 a night. The hotel is in the CBD and is only a block from the Museum and information centre. Good eating options close by.

We went out in the morning and expected to get fresh towels supplied to the room for when we reached back. We had to ask for fresh towels and it was around 1400.

Right in the city centre. Close to beach. Has everything we need. Clean. Quiet. Nice staff.

Cleanliness of the room was a disappointment, could use some bleach in the shower, need to dust skirting boards, top of desk, remove flies squashed on the wall, pillows and bed we both found uncomfortable

The room was 'boujie' as per our teen - which is definitely a good thing!The shower was awesome - so good to wash long hair as pressure was next level.Beds were super comfortable.

Nothing - we've stayed here before and loved it, that is why we stayed again. Last time we stayed as a couple, this time we bought our teens.

The staff were very friendly, which we really appreciated. The room was clean and I would rate it about an 8/10.

Overall, our stay was fairly good, but there were a few disappointing points.We were told that there was enough off-street parking and that we would not need to pre-book. When we returned to the hotel at night, all the parking was full and we had to park on the street, which was disappointing.There was also a sign in the room asking guests to be reasonably quiet and considerate of others, with the mention of possible fines. Because of this, we expected a quiet stay. Unfortunately, at around 6:30am the next morning, there were kids screaming and running up and down the hallways. It also sounded like there was a lot of jumping and noise from the rooms above us. This went on until about 8:30am, and we eventually gave up trying to sleep in on our weekend getaway.

Spacious and clean with kitchen. Guest laundry available - coin operated $4 per wash, $4 per dry (2 x $2 coins needed per machine). Lots of hangers in closet. Good location downtown.

Very good location, modern and tidy rooms.

We stayed for 2 nights, the cleaning staff topped up our milk and coffee/ tea sachets, gave us fresh towels, but didn’t neaten up the bed/ make it. Not a major issue but thought that would be included.

Clean, comfortable, presentable, value for money, with space for parking. Can use utensils and cook as well. Nice staff and place are within cbd.
