Distinction New Plymouth Hotel

The lovely staff and very accessible, comfortable and clean

Great mattress! Really comfortable. The spa bath was nice too.

The windows open into the room so you couldn't sleep with them open at night, just a small thing but our room got quite warm.

It was comfortable and quiet and the friendly staff at reception

Staff and cleanliness

Lack of a decent clean iron and reasonable ironing board. USB connections lacking

Proximity to CBD.Staff very helpful

It's starting to look very tired, especially for the price you pay.

Close to walk to city. Great shower

Very soft beds.

Room was clean and tidy. Bed really comfortable.

Wish there was a small bottle of milk instead of little tubs as could only have one coffee.

Spaciousness. Bathroom excellent. Great shower pressure

Good central location, large rooms

Pretty dated, small windows

Friendly and informative receptionistWell prepared room - very spacious

The bath used as spa or not has an unusual cleaning process - very noisy and intrusiveThe walls are a bit thin - noise from adjoining room not m\expected in a modern hotel

Great large suitye with all teh amenties you could ask for and complementary mountain bikes were great for a summer cycle tour of the city.

Limited parking

Room had everything we needed for our night's stay. Bed was comfortable. Great location in the heart of New Plymouth.

Location to spa was great. Central to town. Quite. Loved the spa. Would be great to have restaurant in building. But was easy to find cafe close by.

Would be fantastic to invest in black out curtains.

Helpful staff, check in/out was easy, and appreciated being able to pay in advance as we were leaving early. The room had a comfortable bed and a nice spa bath, which actually worked (some places advertise a spa bath, but the jets don't work, which is really disappointing). The location was very handy to local facilities and restaurants/food outlets, so it was easy to do a bit of shopping.

The parking area was a little small to move around, but we got a park every time we came back to the hotel, so it was fine. The lift was a little klunky, so we just used the stairs, so no big deal.

Good location

Air conditioning hard to understand,no instructions otherwise room was good value.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for us. Good tidy room, comfortable and clean. Good parking.

Location was central, the spa bath was nice, bed was comfy.

Parking was difficult

Very central , friendly staffBed was real comfortable

No restaurant or bar on site Rooms look a bit tired our shower fell apart

Didn't try any food cafe was closed.

My bed wasn't comfy, no basic cutlery provided! Tub looked so bad and old! Airconditioning and heating were avearage!

Location. Close to good restaurants, coastal walkway. Comfy bed, good shower and spa bath. Windows open for fresh air.

Rather tired decor. Rabbit warren to find room. Wifi cut in and out for us
