Nice Hotel

Terrible would not stay at...

Put in room that was road side so noisy . Back on to kitchen noisy paid way to much for this room should not be a room they use have to walk thru dining room would not recommend had they been up front about room would have never stayed .

The breakfast menu looked fantastic but we were out with friends early. We had dinner in with friends; the meal was delicious, 5star complimented with a fine wine selection.

Everything was fantastic with a delightful garden outdoor dining and drinks area

No instructions for coffee machine Minimal provision of teabags etc considering the cost of the room

Reasonably good eggs bennie, convenient having good restaurant on premises. Awesome oysters and good wine list

Shower in spa bath a bit slippery

Very central. Short walking distance to everything. Charming, tasteful & quaint rooms.

The interior looked vintage and like your were inside a old palace. The wall papers were superb.

The dust on the blinds and air con.. Seems like need cleaning..

Such a cozy, cool room. Location is superb. Staff is so nice and personal.

It's not that I didn't like it, as it wasn't a bother. But folks should know that the restaurant is fully functional and the patio of the restaurant can be right outside the room. But it wasn't noisy and the room was still very private.

The host was great

We missed out on their usual delicious dinner as the restaurant was closed. We have dined there several times previously & the food and service were 10/10

The decor took me back!! Quirky and fun. Beds were so comfortable and loved the additional little bits like cookies, toiletries, and coffee machine in room.

The bathroom door kept clunking but fixable.

It has everything we needed for a comfortable/restful stay. So clean everywhere we looked. The decor is fascinating! It's like being transported back in time but with all the amenities of a modern hotel. We enjoyed visiting New Plymouth but the Nice Hotel is a site to explore in itself!Thanks!

Maggi was so welcoming and accommodating! Food from the restaurant was stunning, drink selection was amazing, beds were dreamy and the rooms were so convenient!We loved the location of the accommodation/ restaurant as everything was in walking distance for our family!

The décor was absolutely stunning. It felt like staying in a European home. Terry and his team were warm and easygoing. My room was spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable 3 day stay: a kitchenette, tableware, and a bathtub perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. I also enjoyed a drink in the beautiful garden while reading in the afternoon. A big plus — The Table restaurant at the hotel is one of the best in New Plymouth.

If I had to mention one thing — my ground floor room had beautiful windows, but I couldn’t open it( not sure if they were meant to open). I do like a bit of fresh air each day.

Professional, friendly, and accommodating staff. They understood when family joined me for the remainder of my stay, providing extra bedding at no extra costs.The onsite restaurant served quality kai in a beautiful setting.It is a great location and close to Pukekura and CBD.

The mini fridge placed inside the wardrobe was warm to touch. I suggest relocating to beneath the bench.

Beautifully decorated and appointed boutique art hotel. Very well placed for all the amenities.

Slight misunderstanding about daily room cleaning….hopefully this system will be ironed out for future guests.

The 3 course meal was delicious The bed was super comfortable & i enjoyed the Artwork

Unfortunately there was no fan extractor in the bathroom
