great space and location.

Cleanliness was not quite met. Bathroom had not been cleaned properly at all. We were 4 people and only one mug. Staff had to go and look for extra mugs around the property then only brought back 3. Teacups were so tiny for two grown men.Had to ask for milk daily.

location was great, easy walk to the waterfront, shops and cafes. Nice having some comfy chairs to sit in instead of sitting at the end of the bed to watch tv

I had a fantastic stay at Brougham Heights Motel and Apartments in New Plymouth. The room was modern, spacious, and exceptionally clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment was well equipped, making it feel like a home away from home.The location is excellent—close to the city centre, restaurants, and attractions, yet still quiet and relaxing. Parking was easy, and check-in/check-out was smooth and hassle-free.The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. The overall standard of the property is outstanding and clearly well maintained.I would highly recommend Brougham Heights Motel and Apartments to anyone visiting New Plymouth, whether for business or leisure. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice big apartment the layout was good and the position of the place

The double bed had no support with 2 people in it very restless night when my husband moved woke me up all the time

Extremely noisy as directly above busy road with traffic lights in main city street. Open windows had no stays so you had to have them open wide if you wanted them open so the constant noise poured in. Kitchen equipment lacking - no matching cups or glasses (only needed two!), no small sharp knife (only one large knife but blunt), no cutting board, no salt (shaker was empty with no bung in the bottom!), second cereal bowl was stained, fruit bowl dusty! Obviously none of these kitchen amenities had been checked for some time. No conditioner, only shampoo. Toilet leaking slightly around base! Bathroom rubbish foot pedal not working. Shub very slippery, no handrail. Shub floor had treads coming off. Taps in shub and basin very stiff to move.

Spacious room, parking right outside, good central location.

Room is very tired, beds very uncomfortable. Upstairs unbearably hot, even with ceiling fan on full there is no way to cool the room down. Air conditioning downstairs was good but did not carry up stairs to bedrooms. Layout not great, one child had to sleep on own downstairs. Would be better to have all beds upstairs with a division since the room is so large. OR change the couch to a sofa bed so there is more than just one single downstairs. Carpets very tired, toilet paper supply miserable. Room had a musty unclean smell on arrival.

Location Is g8...close to all amenities...

Personally I feel that the rubbish...bins recycling etc..should either be moved away from reception entrance or disguised with fence or emptied more frequently...not appealing to smell bins on entry or see them.

After returning from an evening out our car park was filled by I'm assuming other guests which wasnt ideal as we had a little one with us, perhaps numbering car spaces to ensure this does not happen although it's normally common courtesy and obvious the park in front of your room belongs to that room

Brougham Heights Motel is well-located and convenient for our two night stay. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre, Pukekura Park, the coastal walkway and local restaurants, though some of these have "odd" hours for the holiday season by closing early?? The facilities were spotlessly clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and attended to all our needs throughout our brief stay.

The only slight issue is some traffic noise in the early morning, but this is largely due to the otherwise convenient location and did not have a detrimental impact on our stay.

Very spacious apartment with a large bathroom and plenty of room in the bedrooms. Great balcony overlooking city streets. Easy carparking. We felt very safe here. Also we had not expected the apartment to be serviced every day - we would come home from sight-seeing and our clean dishes on the drainer would be put away and our beds made! So this was a very nice touch!

There was not enough crockery / cutlery in the room for 5 people. The kitchen was very small for preparing our own meals. The fridge was too small and hard to open / close as it was on carpet and the door dragged on the carpet. However we made it all work and just had to wash the dishes more frequently! I am guessing that many people do not prepare whole meals in the apartment the way we did - so the minimal kitchen equipment probably would not affect most people. As I said, we were still able to make do and when we requested more cutlery from reception they happily gave it to us.

The tiled floor were sticky probably from previous tenants, a bit of stench from oven.

Love how it is sooo handy to the city.I wasnt expecting our beds to be made during our 2 night stay, so that was a lovely surprise

Location is perfect to town, parking on site and the owners are lovely and approachable
