Bks Egmont Motor Lodge

Location to venue we were going to on the night we stayed.

Minimal toilet paper. No milk provided for a tea or coffee.

Location was great. Hosts were so friendly and helpful. Room had everything we needed. Was serviced and refreshed everyday. Definitely recommend and we would definitely return.

Nothing to say

Our unit was clean, cosy & peaceful. I highly recommend staying here. The staff were very welcoming, friendly & super helpful.

Quiet, well equipped room. 2 recliner lounge chairs were a nice touch.

It is close to places we visited. It is a nice place to stay. Seldom you can find an accomodation to fit 6 people.

It would be the shower needs upgrade but its no biggie. All is well.

I like that they have a dishwasher and a freestanding cooker in the room. We can cook or bake inside the room which was not available to any other motel we have been to.

The shower is a bit of a downside. Its an old version, which I am not used to.

Very clean and quiet despite being close to the highway. Close to Pukekura Park.

Tight maneuver to exit the parking.

Super ideal location, walking distance to town and light festival.

Nice big rooms, comfortable beds. Stoked with not only the extra table fans but the fact there was actual air-conditioning not to mention ceiling fans to help counteract the heat at times. The kitchenette with appliances was great aswell.

not applicable. did not use this service

the room compendium was out of date. especially regarding sky tv instructions and communicating with reception.

Very central, walking distance to Pukekura Park for the festival of the lights.

The rooms were lovely and spacious, plenty of room in the lounge and bedroom and the bathroom was not cramped at all like most other motels. It was airy and pleasant, the view not bad, and the traffic noise was not as bad as I feared it might be so close to the road. It was a perfect location for our needs too - walking distance to Pukekura Park and very accessible.

The water tasted disgusting. I don't know if it's a New Plymouth thing but at the motel it tasted like it came straight from a pond. The shower also had a mind of its own and kept turning itself off.

That I could stay here with 6 of us in one unit! Hard to find when you have a big family.

The shower. It was either full force or it turned off when you tried to turn it down.

Great location for the festival of lights . Great price as well . Friendly staff . Clean and tidy .

A hard pillow option would have been great .

The convenience to town. The unit was roomy and spacious, loved the fact no extra bed was squeezed in and decent chairs to sit in Bed was very comfy

Nothing we were very impressed

The owners were so good. They helped us store our bikes and made our stay welcoming. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Handy to park, ours sons bed was in the lounge and ours was a separate room. Spa bath was nice. Room was spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable stay. Great facilities and staff were so helpful. Bathroom warming light was appreciated.

Bin was too small in kitchen

The spa was lovely

A little noisy as is close to a main road.

Quiet . Ground level so easy access for work stuff .

It’s getting a little bit tired . Shower pressure was fantastic . Would be better if shower not over spa bath . Would be nice to have bed pulled up each day .
