The disgusting spa! The warning about ants in the kitchen. The dated rooms. The hard bed.

The central location.

The indoor pool sadly wasn't heated but the spa was lovely.

No breakfast was available.

Beds uncomfortable. Staff very friendly.

I liked the location close to everything thats needed.

An average stay overall. The rooms are functional but clearly in need of maintenance, with visible wear such as holes in the walls and broken amenities. With a repaint, some modernisation and upgraded furniture and bathrooms, the motel could better match the price point. At present, it requires a bit of TLC to meet expectations.

Location not too bad, central.It had a pool.

Was a windy night but he doors and windows banged all night.Road noise was terrible and trucks shook the building.They said heated pool, it wasnt. The spa was but felt miss informed.You have to book the pool, this is bad if you dont know as could easily miss out.

Location was great ..

Duvets wernt washed ..beds smelled like indian men .. very uncomforatable beds .. front of room smelled like cat urine .. big cobwebs in rooms ..and 1 of kids bed had a white tail spider in it ... oven sounded like it was about to explode ... pool was adverstised at heatd.. but on door says not heated and is only avail with a booking ... the owner tried to charge us more saying we hadnt paid for children ...but we most certainly had ( was lucky i had confirmation email from booking .com)

Location was great. Hospitality and friendliness 100 % perfection

Hubby said the double bed was too hard and maybe needed a few more pillows. Not a complaint just an observation. Everything else was perfect

Expected a hot swimming pool when we knew the weather is going to be bad, but was broken when we arrived.

The motel is easy to find and convenient,lots of eating places nearby.

The pool is very cold,and comes with a very very dirty and smelly spa.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom Family unit, travelling as four adults and it had good sleeping beds for our family. The location was very CBD central. The motel has a heated indoor swimming pool that you can book a 30 minute slot. The unit had a full kitchen available. There are three main supermarkets very close, as well as many nearby takeaways and restaurants to eat out. there are a lot of gardens, forest walks and ocean walkway to explore and the Christmas lights at Pukekura Park.

The motel has two possible entrances and one side is on one way main road through New Plymouth. This can confuse the Google map guidance. Overnight the centre of town has traffic noise that can impact sleeping.

It's location was good, easy walk to town the beach and the lights festival.

The room seemed a little run down, and did not meet the pictures on the website. Whilst it met our needs ot was not what I expected

Staff was friendly and spoke respectfully

Website has spa and pool advertised. Once we arrived we found we had to book in to use it and the bookings were already full for the day. We did manage to get in as there was a cancellation but the spa was absolutely filthy and has dirt soap scum skill cells fluff and all sorts just floating around in it. Also a horrible urine smell . Beds were so hard we woke through out the night and woke with achy backs.

Room was comfortable and warm. Location was close to the things and places we needed. The pool booking system was great, 45 mins for a personal swim, fabulous

The room i was in didn't have an power socket next to a mirror for drying hair, very minor

The large size rooms and the layout of them. Having an indoor pool was great.Being close to town and easy walking distance to see "the lights" was great.The staff were very friendly and helpful and easy to talk with.

It would be better to have a heatpump/cooling device?? in place, rather than fans, as it was warm and it would cool the rooms better.

Situated near the centre of New Plymouth, there was plenty of room for the 3 travelers in our party. Comfy beds and the basics were all catered for. Free parking and two entry/exits to the property by car.

Unfortunately, the central location of the property also meant that there was a bit of noisy traffic.

A spacious apartment in a convenient location, just a short distance from the CBD.

The apartment is somewhat outdated and shows signs of wear.

Location is perfect. room amenities were present. staff are very welcoming. value for money is great. room is clean and tidy.
