Our room was spacious and well appointed. Very attractive. Check-in was quick and pleasant. The location is very convenient, and parking on-site.
Found a few hairs in the bathroom - I just don't like that. The room itself was very clean.
The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom had the best lighting I've seen in a long time at a hotel. The restaurant had an excellent view of the waterfront. The food was excellent, but small portions and on the expensive side. The desk clerks were very friendly and efficient.
The bathroom sink was discolored, which made it look unclean. The cleaning staff was simply not on their game. We had asked for additional wash cloths, but they were inconsistent in meeting this request. The sheets were not tucked in as one would expect. They did not replace the tissue box for the last two nights of our week stay. These were minor disappointments, but notable.
The room was of a very generous size for a hotel and the bed was comfy and shower had good pressure.
The location was central and a very convenient walk to the waterfront, restaurants and shops. The room itself was bigger than expected and was clean and tidy. All the staff we encountered were all super friendly, both in the hotel and at Salt restaurant where we had our breakfast for both mornings. Great portions, delicious food and a nice view overlooking the waterfront. Also appreciated the welcome macarons upon arrival. Overall a very comfortable stay and great value for money.
Limited onsite parking - first come, first serve basis, but staff pointed out the available offsite parking, usually with a charge but complimentary on weekends and public holidays.
Such a great location, just one minute walk to waterfront and dinning at restaurant watching activities along the water front.
May be could of had slimmer pillows on the bed?
Great beds, slept very well, walking distance to most places.
Resturant/Bar only opens at 5pm
Nice modern hotel downtown near waterfront. Comfortable rooms. Staff friendly and efficient.
We have stayed here before. No complaints. Staff great and helpful, Beds were comfy and location fantastic.
Rooms are a little small and the water flow from the shower was not strong.
I didn't like having to pay the extra then waiting 3 days for the refund especially as I paid up front when we arrived,as the extra $200 was for the trip.
as above
Loved the restaurant but we got better and bigger meals on night one and got less on night two. Risotto was excellent so we had it twice. The both nights I had the same cocktail with the second night missing one of the main ingredients, basil. I was told it was out of season.
Comfortable clean facility with parking and close to CBD and restaurants.
We stayed over Easter Saturday and were delighted to find a thoughtful welcome of fine wine, charming chocolate bunnies, and exquisite macarons waiting for us. The hotel’s restaurant served a sumptuous breakfast accompanied by attentive and friendly service. We recommend this wonderful place for a truly memorable stay.
Passable
The making up of room was minimum service .. the bed was more than approximately madeWe had the room 103 and 102 close to the restaurant and it was very noisy . I did ask twice the restaurant to close the door to be able to sleep The menu offered by the restaurant was very restricted and very expansive
Aakasha in house keeping Michael and Manish in the restaurant were excellent. Their people skills were exemplary and we were very impressed. Front of house were also nice.
We didn’t like that on the day we arrived (which was beautiful and sunny) the restaurant/bar closed at 2pm and didn’t open again until 5pm. We were disappointed as it would have been a lovely place to look at the view and have a drink and snack. Come 5pm it was no where near as warm. Very disappointing
When we arrived we were offered a complimentary drink, of which I can't remember the name. It was a nice surprise for me and my sister. When we arrived in the room, we noticed there was only one bed - when we asked if there was an option for two single beds, the staff member came up to separate the beds and remake them so my sister and I didn't have to share. We appreciated this as he was incredibly busy (I think he was on his own).We also enjoyed how central it was - we could just park at the hotel and go walking to find what we needed.
When my sister went to have a spa bath she found quite a few hairs in the bath, that looked like pubic hairs. She cleaned the bath but even still she didn't spend long in there because of how the bath was originally, she couldn't get comfortable. I also chose not to have one for the same reason. There are also limited parks so we had to park on the roadside.
The location was good
It doesn't have buffet breakfast, and it's not mentioned when I booked the hotel. The reason I booked this hotel was because the buffet breakfast was showing on the photos, but unfortunately, they provide a breakfast menu, and it wasn't good at all.
