Anthony was very friendly and helpful viking lodge is very peaceful

Room number 9 was a awesome room it was clean and the beds were comfortable to sleep the kitchen was real economical.

Nothing the hospitality was awesome

What breakfast?

Small kitchen space, Aircon that made a loud noise in 10sec bursts every 20-30 minutes

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and tidy and exactly what we needed.

Main Street location so easy walk to town - everything nice and clean - great to have electric blankets foodand heat pump

Food / electric jug area super compact

Great motel - clean, tidy, warm and quiet. Good value for money as well. We enjoyed our staff.

Sky didn’t work due to the weatherThe remote to heat pump was flat (room 7) but was all goods my husband turned it on manually and it had enough battery to control the heat settings and pressureOnly a shower was available but still niceWifi slow Could hear my neighbours through the wall need to strategically place beds

The room was fine, although the heating system was noisy. One suggestion would be to change the notice in the office when not attended. Just provide a phone number, as you are not just gone for 10 minutes

Warm ansd clean, bit noisey as we were close to the road bit not too bad

its not I didnt like but would be nice to have a few items Handee towels in the kitchen and tissues in the bathroom

Noisy roof, no teaspoons, no dinner plates and no iron and ironing board. Just need to improve on basics and all good

Locality was good. I was in the front room. So road noise was quite high. Not a problem for me at night. Being a bit deaf has some compensations. Room was clean and comfortable. But could be made better.

The kitchen arrangement was really unexceptable. Having all dishes and the toaster in a cupboard well above most peoples head height is a safety risk. I'm sure anyone a little shorter than me would not be able to reach it. Nowhere to wash dishes. It would be simple enough to fix by taking out the single bed and putting a kitchen in it's place. Water and drainage is all in that area. Maybe should be looked at. Otherwise all was fine.

The Viking Motel was on the main road. Walking distance to everything we needed. Welcoming check in. Loved, loved loved the bed and pillows. Wish we had stayed in Dannevirke longer

No breakfast was offered, location was good, value for money.

The one bedroom unit was very spacious in size for two adults & 2 children.Very clean & tidy, love how every day the units are serviced & the staff there were so friendly.

Water pressure in the shower

I lost my engagement ring which I had fir 50 yrs Mist likely spoilt my stay

Location was great, clean, well maintained. Air conditioning worked well, parking just outside the room. Cafe next door for breakfast, close to town centre and supermarket.

Nothing to complain about

Friendly staff, good big laundry, fresh milk.Spacious airy bathroom with area to hang clothes to dry.. parking beside the door. Very convenient location in town centre.

Didn't have any problems. Room does not have air-conditioning, so on some really hot days that could be an issue for some.

Comfortable beds and larger living areas. We have one bedroomed apartment.Basic but everything we needed. Nice quiet spot even though it was on the main road.

I emailed ahead asking for space for our trailer and when we got there parking was very tight. The staff helped by giving us options but we needed to unhitch and park separately which was a bit of a pain.Otherwise all good.
