Situated right by the main road, and despite double glazing throughout, traffic noise is unavoidable. Fortunately Waimate is a very quiet town so traffic volumes are low and pretty much nonexistent at night

Wonderful people looked after me well and gave me an upgrade, so comfortable. I was stopping in Waimate overnight to break up a long trip but wished I could have stayed longer.

The location was great, and the bed was comfortable.
The room was quite small, not the same as pictured when booking with booking.com.The unit above us, you could hear everything and was woken by the other stayers walking above and the dryer or something having a constant humming at 4am could do with some sound proofing.
