Pros +
- Fantastic stay, walking distance from main streets in town, clean and large rooms
- Great motel. Had good kitchen and comfy bed. Friendly family running the motel. Probably one of the best places I stayed in during my trip to NZ. Couldnt ask for more.
- Great location near CBD, good size room that was clean and tidy.
Cons -
- Almost nothing. The owner/manager was a bit gruff when I asked about parking when I arrived. She stated that I was the last one in. I have a larger vehicle. She let me park in the handicapped parking spot.
- Barking dog next doorTV in lounge was faultyVery hot bedrooms & no fly screens on windowsOnly 1 AC unit in the loungeroom
- With all the room the apartment offers, would have been great to have a clothes washer and dryer in the apartment. There is a communal one, but I just didn’t have the time to wait around for the wash and dryer cycle to end.

The best accommodation we have had all trip, by far. Great service, large, comfortable, clean room and bathroom. Great shower. Easy walk to cafes/restaurants and waterfront. We will definitely return!

Places very clean..large beds… great shower.. great location… great team the work there!!
Everything ! Absolutely everything was great. Clean, modern, comfortable. Accommodated a late check in due to delayed flight from Christchurch
Quiet location; easy walk to town and beach - large room; comfortable bed; spacious room with good bathroom - liked that the hand/body wash and other toiletries made in NZ.
Great walkable location. Clean and fresh. Just as advertised. Friendly staff.

Fabulous. Clean spacious. Would have stayed an extra night but fully booked. If you have mobility issues ask for a main flow room.
Room excellent, clean, tidy and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen area. Lovely shower. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Just 5 minute walk to the town.
Great location, comfortable, quiet
Better than expected. From the photos we thought we were getting 2 double beds in the one room. We ended up with a 2 bedroom apartment- which was fantastic and clean. Spacious. Loved the Location - just a 5min walk to the centre of town.
With all the room the apartment offers, would have been great to have a clothes washer and dryer in the apartment. There is a communal one, but I just didn’t have the time to wait around for the wash and dryer cycle to end.
Perfect pillows and oh so comfy bed, very clean , ,lovely shower, quick walk into town, excellent recommendation for dinner. All round winner.
It was perfect
The unit was well laid out, good quiet location and friendly staff
I loved how large and comfortable the rooms were. Beds were so comfy! Linens and sheets were great. The room was so clean and felt brand new.
I had no complaints!
Lovely, clean, good location, comfortable beds, lovely smelling body wash, shampoos.
Dishwasher out of order
great room and bed ----very friendly and efficient staff
The small kitchen for us to cook lunch and dinner, plus its location which is so close to town centre !Also they gave you a nice quality coffees and teas , and the staff were all very friendly .
The bed was comfy in general, but would need to be replaced soon, as it sloped inward as you moved your body.
