Nothing. Perfect stay
Very authentic rural hotel with cozy rooms.
A bit noisy from both outside (street) and inside (other guests).
It all seems to be a charming old inn with spacious rooms and romantic patio's. The host seems to enjoy his role and is very helpful. Breakfast is very good and well served.
We got the impression beforehand that the meals in the restaurant would be of stunning quality. However, nor the dishes nor the waitress invited to enjoy our dinner.
A beautiful historic setting, wonderful food and exceptional staff. Thank you for everything.
Friendly and kind staff. Room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was absolutely fabulous, with an incredible choice of food. Breakfast was brilliant.
The bed linen smelled of the washing powder. I hate that. The room was a bit old fashioned and sad. The Tv didn’t have an English language channel. The shower was a bit too complicated.
Beautiful location, friendly host - but the food was very disappointing
The food
service-ability and welcoming attitude of the owner and staff, combined with good quality of the meals
Staff excellent and meals were very traditional spanish and tasty ?
Very nice Hotel, very clean, friendly and helpful people. Nice restaurant for dinner. easy to get a parking spot at the street.
The rooms are very dark, lighting is poor either in the room as well as in the bathroom. Warm water in shower almost not available, takes about 1 min that it at least gets a little warm. Breakfast is okay, however not worth mentioning.
Rustic charm and lovely staff with nice restaurant on site
Slight noise from the road
The nicest people will meet you here. Your need is their’s as well. Unfortunately, we did not stay more. The place, the ambiance, the way it is maintained are worth of much longer stay!
Small hotel with lots of character. Exactly as per pictures. Lots of seating areas inside and out. Excellent food in restaurant. Lovely tourist office opposite. San Miguel is a Unesco heritage site, well worth a visit. 8km from the airport. We will be returning.
We only stayed for one night on our last night before flight back to the uk, should have booked more nights.
Very nice owner, outstanding breakfast and best cafe con leche! Gracias for your excellent support!
The food and friendliness and caring of the staff was exceptional. The actual hotel was beautiful.
While the traditional bedroom keys were quaint (and huge)....I think switching to a more modern key or card swipe system would be better. It was difficult to get the door to lock and the large key meant you had to leave it at the hotel. Other than this - absolutely no no compaints!
The hotel is inside a beautiful garden which serves a restaurant as well, giving off positive energy and rustic vibes. The staff was accommodating and helpful. There were plenty of shopping and restaurant options close by.
There was no fridge inside the room, which was a bit inconvenient. The door to the room didn’t lock from the inside and there was no latch in the door, so anyone could enter our room by simply pushing the door whenever we were inside. The hotel also has no reception, so we had to wander around the property upon arrival to find someone, and when we did, the person also spoke almost zero English. The shower drain was congested to the point that any 10+ minute shower would result in water overflowing onto the bathroom floor. I also wouldn’t recommend this area without renting a car, as everything is at least a 20-30 minute drive away and the bus service is not super reliable.
Quirky place, great continental breakfast, friendly staffLovely restaurant with large helpings
Our room was overlooking the main road, which despite the apparent villlage location, was very busy all night and we got almost no sleep. The walls between rooms are extremely thin; we heard every word of our neighbours’ conversation (plus their alarm at 05.00am)
Very cute small hotel.
We spent there only one night and probably that’s why we’ve got a room oriented to main street, where the window is not soundproof. Can’t really imagine the night there without earplugs. It’s quite noisy.
Lovely place, nice village, very quiet, old typical Canarian house well equipped and very comfortable rooms. Nice restaurant as well.
I can’t think of anything.
Pretty charming small hotel. We stayed only one night and reason for selecting this hotel was that it was one of the nearest to the airport, because our flight arrived very late in the evening. Hotel staff (owner?) was flexible, since we arrived to the hotel after its official door-closing time. Breakfast was ok.
The room was quite small, but anyhow big enough for two.
