    Pros +

    • Very Clean and very friendly staff
    • Close to the airport. Super clean. Hot shower with lots of water pressure. Helpful staff but almost no English. Helped get us to the bus for our next destination
    • Dishonest and stole our credit card.

    Cons -

    • The wall are really thin and the noise travel very easy , and the window are blinds type
    • We have stayed in hotels across the world and have not had a worse experience. One of the hotel staff went through our luggage and stole our credit card while we were gone for the day. They broke the locks on our suitcase. Then they took it on a shopping spree. The hotel manager said that they would give us a refund in a couple of days and now are refusing to refund. We did not feel comfortable staying another night so we left the place and found a new. Be aware if you stay at this place one of the hotel staff knows how to break into suitcases locks and are going through luggage looking for valuables.
    • Bed had bunch of hair , it was super loud , windows were not closing

We stayed here for it's close location to the airport as we were flying out the next day. The location was great and though you could walk to the airport, we were able to book a ride with the front desk which worked out perfectly. The room was large, the shower had great pressure, and the water was hot! The beds were firm yet comfortable and the staff were very helpful. We had a great breakfast before our ride to the airport and would recommend Casa Aurora to anyone needing a safe, comfortable, and convenient place to stay close to the airport.

The only improvement I would recommend would be a longer shower curtain in the shower so the water doesn't spray outside the shower and wet the bathroom floor. The floor dried quickly after use, but a bit longer shower curtain, or even lowering the curtain bar a bit could likely solve that problem.

The staff was great and helped us with city information! Very clean.

We just needed to stay here for 5 hours before taking the flight back to our country. It is a very simple house where you can stay the night before taking your flight. It is ~5 minutes close to the airport.

It is not close to the city. You will need to take a taxi/car/uber.

    Clean

They gave me a glass of water they said was agua pura. But it wasn't. It gave me tourista.

The hotel was near the airport. It was very clean. Staff was friendly.

I was told that a shuttle from the airport would be provided. The cost I was quoted was more than twice I had paid for a shuttle from a similar hotel in the past. I waited 50 minutes for the shuttle to arrive and finally had to take a cab.The room lacked air conditioning or a fan.

Great location near airport. Employee at front desk was friendly and helpful.

Uncomfortable beds, bathroom was a bit run down. You can hear everyone in all the rooms and the outside. Hard to sleep at night.

Good basic Guatemalan or American style breakfast.

Although close to airport, neiborhood felt very isolated at night.

The kitchen staff and the check-in gentleman were friendly. The breakfast in the morning was much appreciated and good-tasting. There was an Eco Filtro in the dining area for us to fill our water bottles, though I wish we had known that upon checking in late the night before. When our ride the next day was running over an hour late, we checked out and they allowed the 4 of us to sit on chairs in the grassy plaza in the sunshine. We were definitely appreciative of that!

I had arranged a ride from the airport after our flight landed at 11pm and that was confirmed via email. I was told there would be an extra charge, which surprised me since in the Booking.com listing it said a ride from the airport was included in the price of the rooms. I told them via email to please charge the card with which I reserved the room. When we exited the airport no one was waiting for us. So I called the hotel and after ringing many times a sleepy male voice answered. He said there was no one to pick us up. Thankfully we didn’t have much luggage and there were 4 of us women who felt brave and walked to the hotel 15 minutes after midnight. It wasn’t optimal but we stayed safe. GoogleMaps had the hotel on the opposite side of the road than it actually is so that was a tense moment until we figured it out. I didn’t realize that the card I used to book the rooms wouldn’t be charged and we had to walk across the street upon check-in to pay for the rooms one at a time. The beds were harder than we were used to but the rooms were very clean. The street noise was very loud and the rooms were hot so we had to keep the windows open, increasing the traffic volume.

The young woman who greeted me when I arrived was very helpful and nice. She arranged a ride for me to go to the airport (which was very close but my bags were heavy and I needed to get there at 1am, and came to my room to verify that everything was set. The room was clean, I felt very safe as a solo traveler. This is a good spot to stay if you need to be close to the airport.

The lighting in the room was harsh but that is not a big deal.

Close location to the airport, within walking distance... very good as I just need to sleep.. good quality room with good facilities... just thought it was a little expensive, but maybe it is warranted.

The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from the airport. Staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi works well and hot water works well. They provide a few options for breakfast. You won't feel bored even you stay here for a few nights.

    I wouldn’t recommend. Completely unprofessional

The room was too hot, even at night with the window open. The receptionist talked all night, right next the room.

My flight got cancelled due to snow in Dallas, I was so relieved to find this property to stay in for 2 nights near the airport until I could fly home. It’s brand new that’s why there are only a few reviews I was worried at first. Once I got there I felt very safe they have extra security measures in place, the staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. It’s very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
