Brit Hotel de Grignan Vichy

The location was great, next to many wonderful restaurants and a short walk to river and town. There is a small gym.

We were there in January, so many places were closed and the spa services were not available. Breakfast at the hotel was average.

They gave us small room instead of reserved room.

The bed was very comfortable. The sheets & towels were lovely. Our room appeared to be recently renovated.

We splurged for the suite & a “spa” hotel with AC. The spa was an extra 65 Euro so we didn’t use. The suite was very long & oddly configured. The AC was at the far end of the room which we couldn’t feel. We brought our fan for relief & forgot it. When I wrote & asked about it they were going to ask house keeping & let us know if they found it (how do you miss a big fan?) We never heard back. There was a huge bathroom with a whirlpool tub (jets didn’t work) & no shower. All a bit odd.

Access to the hotel is in a very narrow street and difficult to park. Furthermore, there is a parking facility but it's necessary to book in advance and the information was not clearly stated in the property description. Parking in the street was possible but we had the very unpleasant surprise to discover that our car was damaged whenwe took it back, and of course no message was left.

Nice stay in Vichy. Good breakfast and spa facilities. Secure parking a bonus. Friendly and helpful staff.

The spa was great, but it would have been fair to let people know in the listing that it’s almost 50 euros for an hour. Also parking is extra. Another thing that should be specified. There are fees, fe fo fum fees and fe fi fo fum fees added for most everything. Room very very small. Impossible to open a large suitcase on the floor without schlepping it up on the bed first. Thats difficult and painful when one has an injury. The room was so small that the little foldable for resting suitcases on had to be stored in the hallway outside the rooms. The doors to the spa are see-through, so the spa is not completely private.For the price, it would have been nice to have conditioner in the bathroom and not just combined shampoo/shower gel of unknown description. Especially in a spa hotel.

Very comfortable and friendly. Parking on-site was very useful and not expensive.

Great location, brilliant staff, very clean and comfortable. Just note... many restaurants in Vichy are shut on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and many of the interesting bars only open at the weekend.We stayed in March it may be different in the peak tourist time!

I booked this hotel for its spa. I reserved he spa in advance and got confirmation. However in the end the spa jacuzzi was unavailable due to construction. That must have been scheduled and they must have known it. The didn't tell me. I was very disappointed !Also the staff member in the dining hall was unfriendly--she greeted and served some other guests but ignored us, even thought we greeted her first.

Good location. Helpful staff, particularly the receptionist.

Limited car parking. You need to book a space early in their car park. Luckily we found an on street vacant space at the front of the hotel.

Warm welcome. Central location to walk and see the historical city. Private , gated parking. Comfortable bed.

Mid -September and still warm. A/C wasn’t available due to the time of year-room was warm.No toiletries.

Helpful friendly staff. Excellent communication before we arrived. Room was luxurious. Bed was awesome.

The vicinity around the hotel is a huge positive. So many options etc. The cleanliness of the rooms is superb. Equally the staff on reception are so well versed in all aspects of the hotel and the options for customers in town.

Zilch ! Truly well run hotel with superbly briefed staff and excellent facilities.
