Staff availability, professionalism and friendliness. Breakfast was good as well. The location of the hotel is good too.

This is the first time I have ever given a bad review but I feel that I have no choice but to do so. We had the worst breakfast experience ever after many happy years of traveling. We arrived at 9.15 on a Sunday morning to a dining corner that looked as if it had been ransacked. It was being run by two youngsters one of whom was very sick , coughing up into his hands and rubbing them off his apron. Dropping cutlery in the dirty floor and putting it back in the box for clients. Not replacing food items. No glasses etc., my husband had to go out to the bar to get a glass, we politely asked to speak to a manager and were told that there was no one in charge. We demanded our breakfast money back and eventually a lady at reception took control and made a refund. I’m sure that this is not reflective of IBIS as we had a lovely experience the day before in another of their hotels.

The room was clean and well-sized, the location was convenient and the staff were pleasant and helpful

I chose this hotel despite it being more expensive than other options because of factors such as parking, air conditioning, and availability of meals. I was disappointed to discover that the car park was closed, and I do not understand why this couldn't have been communicated in advance. The restaurant was also closed, and the air conditioning in the room was either very weak or simply did not work. I was also disappointed by the lack of facilities in the room. Whilst I appreciate the Ibis rooms are basic, it would be nice to have basic amenities such as a kettle, or even a glass to have water.

Very clean, very efficient close to river/parks & town

Friendly welcome and a very comfortable room. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable and everything was very clean.The shower was excellent.It's a short walk to the town centre and shopping mall

The car park isn't functioning but fortunately there is local parking. Our request for a room on a lower floor hadn't reached the management but we were offered a room on a lower floor.No water or tea making facility was available.We were sent to dine at the nearby Mercure restaurant but at 7 pm there was no availability ...

Great location

Was travelling with my son so requested a twin room but was given a double. Plastic mattress protector on bed was uncomfortable, sweaty and noisy. Floor in room and bathroom was dirty and had dirty doggy footprints on it. Room not cleaned on Saturday meaning no toilet paper. Had to request more from reception. Room cleaned on Sunday but only one towel left for two people.

Room was very clean and tidy

It was VERY difficult to get help from the staff as they were not often around. If you didnt speak French they werent very interested as they barely spoke any english. Our two rooms came with double beds despite email confirmation they would be twins

The hotel is very outdated, looks like have been built 30 years ago and never renovated.The bedroom and bathroom were poorly maintained, with an old and shabby appearance. We could find modern, new, and well-decorated hotels for the same price just across the border in Germany.The corridor leading to the room had a musty smell.The elevator was always crowded, and only one was working. We had to carry our suitcase up the stairs.The location is not great, but not terrible either. It is more like a residential area, but within walking distance to the center.

Great location on the edge of the spa district

The bar was closed and the restaurant about to close when we arrived on Sunday evening at 21:30. The desk clerk said to simply go to the center, it we could find nowhere open save a list pub playing heavy metal that could be heard a block away.

I arrive late afternoon and tried to book dinner. I was told they were fully booked and no room for one person for dinner. When I walked past the restaurant at 8.30 it was almost empty. There was no bottled water in the room, but the man said he could get me one from the bar. They added €5 to my account. Who on earth charges that much for a bottle of water! Felt like I’d been robbed!

Location, room and breakfast all good - garage for our motorcycles - short walk to local restaurants

Nice hotel really well placed for being close to the main section of town. Car park has plenty of space and rooms are well priced. It's an Ibis hotel, not much more to say really.

Nothing to complain about considering the cost.

Very poor internet in bedroom, poor quality of ‘plat du jour’

The location is good, staff were generally ok, good that checkout not till 12 noon.

Light in the bathroom obviously faulty and blinked all the time, which was uncomfortable. Both juices and coffee in the dining-room were hard to find, and coffee not good. Car park design very poor - little room to manoeuvre, which had obviously caused accidents (paint from cars on columns); no information to advise people arriving how to get into car park. Service at the bar Sat evening non-existent so we went elsewhere.

Never again

Not really clean and they only have us 2 towels per day in a heat wave during an Ironman
